On the spot

16 June, 2011

A few days ago, I chose to wear this dress, for a small walk at the stores and a movie.

It’s very comfortable and loose and I paired it with this navy leather belt to make it less “flowy”. I chose not to wear any jewellery except for my everyday watch, and wore it with those rope wedges I borrowed from my mom’s closet (or espadrilles as they are commonly known).

Dress: Sarah Lawrence, Belt: Uknown (gift from Italy), wedges: Bournazos (Greek brand), bag: Penny Black, watch: Esprit, sunglasses: Donna Karan.

I got my boyfriend to take these photos of me before we go to the cinema to watch a movie. So glad I didn’t have to take them by myself once again. 🙂 We went to see “The Hangover 2”. It was a very good movie, we laughed a lot, and I think it was better than the first one. So, if you liked the Hangover, you should go see the sequel.

When I first bought the dress I wasn’t that excited about my buy, but I’m starting to like this dress more and more. It got me some nice compliments, and paired with the belt, I like the outcome.

Finally, a close-up of my mom’s rope wedges. We bought them last summer, and I think I’ve worn them, more than my mom. They are navy blue, with brown leather details, and even though they are 1 size bigger than my own, I don’t think you can easily tell, and I like how comfortable they are because of this. My feet tend to swell during summer, because of the heat, so there are just perfect.

What do you think? Any comments are welcome…

How was your week so far? Do you have any plans for vacations? I’d love to hear your news….

Today I think I’ll go to the south, to see other kind of architecture (I love architecture) and couldn’t help but willing to see you and I knew you had written something! Have a great great Sunday and later show us another lovely outfit! I am missing you, to “talk”, no joke! (On Tuesday things get to “normality and I will write better!)

    • Thank you again Denise! I usually post every 2-3 days, depending on my mood and if I have something ready to post. I don’t want to post every day and then run out of subjects to write about.
I missed you and your comments but I know that you need time for yourself so that you can relax and get used to the new house and environment. Thank you for taking some of your time to comment on my posts, I appreciate it.
It took me a while to answer to your comments, so I hope you had a fantastic Sunday, so far. We’ll speak again on Tuesday. Until then, have fun!!! 🙂
