A pop of sherbet

22 April, 2012

Good morning everybody! I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend so far. Today I’ll share with you the outfit I wore the day when I went shoe shopping, when I bought the colorful sandals of my previous post. I chose an outfit in neutral tones, and added a pop of color with my new Zara “orange sherbet” toe cap shoes.

Cape/poncho: H&M, top: Stradivarius, jeans: Zara, bag: Rouskas (Greek brand)(previously seen here), shoes: Zara, sunglasses: Folding Ray-Ban Wayfarers, watch: Michael Kors, nails: 17 Lasting Fix nail polish in Midnight Sapphire, and Tommy G’s mat finish as a top coat.

This is the first time you see my cape/poncho I bought last fall from H&M and my new quilted flap bag. I wore the poncho many times, but didn’t photograph it, but it was the first time I wore the bag. It’s really similar to the Chanel flap bag, which I love.

Sorry for the blurry photo, it’s a bit difficult to focus on something from a distance, with a self-timer.

These pumps were really comfortable; even if it was the first time I wore them. So I’m definitely gonna wear them a lot. If only the weather wasn’t so terrible so I could wear all my new women shoes, and clothes.

My next outfit posts will be the ones I wore on Easter’s Eve/Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, so stay tuned for more colorful outfits. Till then, you can follow me on Facebook or Twitter to get more updates.

    • Thank you Steph! Yes the price was definitely more reasonable, and it was partly a gift (which I changed and bought this bag instead) with a little extra money added. Although I would love to own a Chanel flap bag in the future. It’s such a classic piece. The weather was wonderful today! It’s a nice break from all the rain we’ve been having lately!

  1. So, yes, I’m back! And what for a pleasant read now, seeing my “inspirational styler” so elegant as usual! What can I say? There are people who can wear a newspaper page and will look elegant -I am not saying you are wearing a newspaper page!
On the contrary, your cape is veeeery beautiful and elegant, your top is amazing (I really loved it!) and what for veeeery beautiful shoes!
And I loved the bag too – look like Chanel, great choice!
So, I will for sure get inspired – I mean, I am already, and I am trying to dress again the way I did before going to London so many times… in high heels, please, someone save me from this destiny… I like trainers, but it’s so exaggerated the way we walk there in London… I think my friend is an athlete! Lovely, but an athlete!
Mou leipeis para polli! But now I’m back again 🙂 Filakia polla, elegant and beautiful M.!

    • Awww I missed you too, my dear friend! 🙂 I’m so glad you’re back now. It’s so weird not to see your lovely comments on my posts. You always have something nice to say, and it boosts my mood and my confidence.
So thank you so much for this comment. I’m so happy to hear that you find my style inspirational. It’s such a huge compliment for me. I’m sure that when you’ll stop moving around so much you’ll return to your beautiful style and you’ll wear more of your high heels, that you used to wear every day. You wear more high heels than I do, and I was always amazed of how you managed to do this every day for hours. I’m sure you’ll wear them again in the future, but now you need to wear something more comfortable for your trips to London, because you walk so much with your friend there. I’m sure she would have knocked me out from the first day of walking. I’m so not used to it anymore. I need to exercise more. Unfortunately I gained some kilos again from the Easter holidays, but I’m hoping to lose them again. Too much food! 🙁
I saw you have a new post from France! I’ll come by, to comment on it!
      See you soon!
      Filakia polla! 🙂
