Boot-licious

4 May, 2012

Weird title, I know! I always have trouble finding good titles for my posts and even more now, that my inspiration has left the building, since my blog is down as I’m writing these lines, and I’m much more caffeinated than I should be, to deal with it properly. Of course if you’re reading this, it means that the blog is already up (let’s hope that it didn’t take too long to happen), so let’s move on to my outfit post.

These pics were shot about a week ago, when T. was in town for a few days. So sorry for posting them late again, but as you know I always write my “month in pics” and “month’s wishlist” post at the end and the start of each month, so this takes all other posts back a few days. Anyway, the day was hot enough to allow me to wear a sleeveless black dress (that I didn’t have the chance to wear before, this year), and a pair of my not-so-wintery boots. You’ve seen them before in this post.

Naf Naf dress (belt came with the dress), Tommy Hilfiger boots, Venus Victoria knee length socks, Penny Black bag (here), Mango cropped jacket, Donna Karan sunglasses, vintage necklace, Michael Kors rose gold watch.

I also wanted to add, that I finally decided to join the Shoeper Shoe Challenge, by Shoeperwoman.com, in which “You must wear every pair of shoes/boots in your collection at least once within the space of a year”. So this is the first pair of shoes/boots, I saved since I officially joined the Challenge on May 1st. Woohoo for Shoe Save #1. You’re gonna see my progress over the year, both on this blog, and my personal profile on Shoeperwoman.com. I counted 56 pairs of shoes that are officially in the Challenge so far…If you want to take part in the Challenge yourself, go to Shoeperwoman.com or click here to read more info about it and here to read the basic rules.

For the end, I have a couple of detailed shots…

All photos shot by T.

I know that is seems as quite a boring outfit, especially for such a warm day, but it wasn’t as warm as it looked like, and I really wanted to wear the dress and the boots before Spring/Summer stays for real this time. And I did! In fact, I wore the exact same outfit, the night before to go to T’s house for a little Buzz! Quiz time, on PS3, together with some friends (if you have a PS3 and you like hanging out at home with your friends, I definitely recommend it to you). And I’m glad I did, because we had some really warm days after that, so I also had enough chances to wear many more pastel colored outfits. I hope you’re not bored of them yet, ‘cause you’re gonna see at least 2-3 of them in the next posts. And I also owe you, a post about my new pair of shoes that I ordered via Spartoo.gr. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about it. So see you on Monday with a new post. Until then, have a nice weekend, and follow me on Facebook or Twitter to get the latest updates.

  1. Oh, I’m so glad you decided to join the challenge! I can’t wait to see all of your shoes get saved!

I also love this outfit – you always manage to look so effortlessly glam and elegant!

    • Thank you so much! I’m also glad I joined the Challenge! I’ve been meaning to do it for a long time.
I have a little problem with the badge! I can’t seem to make it appear, but I’ll try to fix it really soon! Sorry for this…

  2. Πολύ ωραίο το κολιέ σου Μ μου! Σε ένα balck outfit οι καφέ λεπτομέρειες αλλά και το υπέροχο κολιέ που διάλεξες δένουν πολύ ωραία 🙂
