Designer dresses from Misses Dressy

23 January, 2013

You all know by now, how much I love dressing up and that I never let a chance to wear something, more formal than usual, pass. Of course my style is very ladylike, most of the times, as I love pencil skirts, and cute dresses, and I jump from excitement every time I have to find a dress for a wedding. So far, I’ve only went with midi dresses that compliment my figure, with a clear preference in blue and green, but I always wanted to go that extra step and wear a maxi evening gown.

The designer evening gown dresses you see above are my favorites! I really loved the purple/lavender ones, and the green/mint ones. I also loved the silver one on 2nd row from the top, and the B&W one from the first row. So elegant and ethereal…Love them! Every girl would feel like a princess in them, and they’re so simple, without many gems, or heavy materials, so they will compliment women of every age. I like the fact that some of them have an ombre effect and the movement of the lightweight material. The black and gold one from the 4th row reminds me of the ball gown Leighton Meester was wearing as Blair, on Gossip Girl.

So what do you think girls? Do you dare to wear maxi dresses as these on special occasions, or do you go for something easier to wear like midi dresses? I love the dramatic effect maxi evening dresses give, and I’ll try to wear something like this on the next formal event I have to attend.
