Last days of spring 6- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

Back to my routine, and hopefully to more outfit posts, now that all the posts from my trip to the Netherlands are over. This outfit post however, was shot before our trip, so it’s quite old now, but I wanted to finish the ones from Holland first. It’s now officially too hot to be wearing anything long, but it’s still a nice outfit, and we do get some chilly days, so here it is. Casual with a twist, focused on two colors, red and dark blue, perfect for an afternoon coffee or for drinks with friends. Updos are the hairstyle of the season, because I seriously can’t stand my hair down when it’s so hot outside. I barely had time to wear any pair of pumps this spring, since it was raining non-stop, especially after we got back and that’s partly the reason, why we hadn’t shot anything in weeks. But I’ll slowly get back to outfit posting, and hopefully I will post more outfits during summer. Hope  you like this look. Enjoy your week!

June 2017 | Wishlist

June 2017 Wishlist

I can’t believe we’re already in June. May flew by, and I didn’t do much, apart from my trip to the Netherlands. I’m here today with another wishlist, or should I say, “things I found online and liked this month”, as I have unofficially renamed this column into. So many trends I like, and so many styles I’d love to add to my wardrobe. Like this lace dress from Self-Portrait, I’ve been eyeing for a while, the banana leaf printed maxi dress, the ruffled top, the gingham top, or the studded brown sandals with the block heels. Thankfully I already got a pair like this a couple of weeks ago, so I can scratch that off my wishlist, but these ones are also cute. Am I right? Which one would you like to add to your closet?

Keukenhof look of the day | Outfits

Keukenhof outfit 6- DoYouSpeakGossip.com

As promised, here’s the full look I was wearing on our visit to Keukenhof gardens. The original plan was to wear my grey midi dress with bare legs, and white sneakers, but the weather failed me so I had to layer up so as not to get a cold. When we arrived at Keukenhof, the weather was grey and cold, but around midday it turned sunny and warm. However I was happy to have chosen a less stylish, yet warmer option, cause when the sun set it was back to super cold weather. In my eyes, I looked super weird in this long dress, with jeans underneath and biker boots, but I had to layer with what I had. At least I got to open my jacket and remove my beanie and scarf after a while. The experience was magical, and I got to take some outfit photos even if I wasn’t so fond of this outfit. It is what I wore after all, and you’ll get nothing less from me. I don’t dress just for outfit posts, you know that. I photograph what I wear in real life, from casual looks and boots, to more formal looks with heels. Enjoy the photos and if you haven’t already, make sure to visit my previous posts as well, to see more photos of my trip to the Netherlands.

1st look from Amsterdam | Outfits

1st look from Amsterdam - Outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

I decided to change up my posting schedule a bit this week, so as to share with you more posts from my trip to the Netherlands. You might have already read the first part of my trip here, but I didn’t to share more outfit photos there, and decided to make a separate post. My outfit of the 2nd day, was definitely not something special or even stylish, but it was way colder than we had anticipated so I had to make do with what I had brought in my suitcase. So I did a lot of layering on my trip, to keep myself warm. I used a light (spring) scarf to protect me from the wind, and belt to keep my thick cardigan closed. I played a lot with tones of gray and pink on my vacation, so even if I looked 10kg more from all the layering, the colors of my outfits still matched. haha I wore my new white sneakers with the pink detail at the back, and I had to borrow my boyfriend’s grey beanie for almost the whole trip. Well, it might not look chic but it managed to keep me warm, so that’s fine by me. Hope you like my look! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below!

Baby blue & baby pink | Outfits

Baby blue & baby pink 2- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

When you’ll be reading these lines, I’ll probably be in Amsterdam. If things went as planned I traveled to the Netherlands yesterday, and this is a scheduled post. In this post, I’m wearing two of my favorite pastel colors together: baby blue and baby pink. Even though they work perfectly well together, as all pastels do, this sweater is a winter one, and it was too hot to be wearing it that day. I learned it the hard way. This means that spring is finally here to stay, and I decided to celebrate it by clutching a beautiful bouquet of tulips, to be the star of this outfit post. Finished the look of with my pink ballerinas and backpack, two pieces that I’ll be wearing a lot all summer long. Hope you’re not tired of seeing them yet. Do you like this look?
