March’s Wishlist

3 March, 2012

We are already in March, but this is my first post of the month, so I haven’t wished you a happy month yet! So happy March to all of you, my lovely readers! Time flies, and we are officially in spring, even though the weather is still a bit harsh on us! We’ve already had a few glimpses of spring weather, but we’ll have to wait for the real deal! That doesn’t stop us from dreaming of all the new pieces we want to add to our wardrobes, featuring the new spring trends, such as pastels (Obsessed! Especially with mint!), neons and color blocking outfits of every kind! You’ve already noticed it from my February’s wishlist that I can’t wait for spring to come!

As I told you on my last post, I’ve bought a few spring pieces (that I’m going to show you on my next post) so that took a bit of my obsession away, but I’ll come back with more spring colors. Today, I have my new wishlist ready for you! So, enjoy!

1. Cafe Noir Niakou, 73€.

No, your eyes don’t play tricks on you! These are indeed flats (well, almost)! I took one look at them and I was in love! Don’t know why but it’s like they’re calling my name. It must be one of the simplest, yet prettiest flats I’ve ever seen. They are from Café Noir, and I would really love to make them mine! .

2. Ravel Giddy in Violet, 114€ 91.20€.

Oh so pretty, and a really great transition to spring. Their color is really cute, and I have yet to add a pair of fuchsia sandals to my collection. They remind me a lot of those Miu Miu ones I’ve shown you a few months back! Not really similar, but both lovely! They are from Ravel.

3. Carvela Anna in Pink, 135€.

Pretty, pretty, pretty! I’ve seen them before, and I’m really in love with the bow. Although they are pointed, and mid-high, they are really cute and appealing to me. Now, if they ever bring the high-heeled version of these, in mint, in my country, which I’ve been seeing all over the internet, they’ll have my vote! These, are undoubtedly pretty, but I already have too many beige/nude heels in my collection. But it you’re interested, they are Carvela, and you can find them here.

4. Blink peep toe wedges, 45€.

Since it’s the beginning of spring, we start looking for wedges of all kinds: cork, rope etc. These are a great choice, and there’s something Missoni about their upper, in my opinion. And their price is really affordable! They are from the brand Blink, which has a really good range of beautiful and affordable shoes. You can buy these here.

5. Melissa Talking in Pink, 85€.

All photos taken from Spartoo.gr

Yes, this is probably the second thing you wouldn’t expect me to write about, or admire, on my blog! Like, ever! And believe me, neither would I! But, lately I’ve been hearing so many nice comments about those plastic Melissa shoes! They say, they are really comfortable, and they have the nicest smell of bubblegum. I must be honest with you! I was never a fan of plastic shoes, and I’m still not one, but there’s something about them that caught my attention! My bet is on the bright pink (or should I say fuchsia) color, and their pretty bow. I don’t know if I would pay 85€ for plastic shoes, but if you’re interested, you can find them here.

So, which one was your favourite? What did you think of my wishlist? To be honest, I want to buy one of them, and I’m yearning more on those flats in the first pic, but I would really appreciate your feedback! I usually buy high-heeled shoes, and I’m not sure I want to pay so much for a pair of flats either. So, we will see which one of them will get more of my attention in the next days! And please feel free to tell me your opinion! I would really put it under consideration!

Thank you so much for reading my blog! Hope you’ll be my new follower, if you aren’t already! 😉 Have a nice day, and a fabulous weekend!

    • You’re so right, I thought exactly the same. There’s something about them that reminds me of Chanel. I’m thinking of buying those from the list. I don’t know about the other ones though.

  1. Back again! I was running all over London and didn’t use the computer!
As usual, I am biased when I comment about your wishlist, because I loved your taste and your style and you know this! So I loved everything that you selected, but I must say that I was amaaaaaazed by the coincidence: I bought, 10 days ago, EXACTLY the same pair of shoes – the first one, by Cafe Noir – just that mine are from River Island, and they have low heels, cause I don’t wear really flat shoes, you know. But what for a coincidence! You will see them in one of my posts, soon!
About Melissa: I wear them since I was a teenager. They smell good, they are comfortable and sweet! I recommend them, for sure!
Will you buy any of these sweet shoes of your list? I am eager to see you wearing some!
I am still impressed by the coincidence! But we do have many things in common!
Filakia pooooollaaaaaaaaaa! Missing you – I am so “demolished” after playing in parks last weekend!

    • Hey Denise! I was wondering where you were because I didn’t see any new posts on your blog! It’s a great coincidence, and you know what? Last night I ordered the first pair by Cafe Noir! They were too cute to resist. And I do need a few pairs of flats in my life, and these are so chic. They are not completely flat. They have a tiny heel, and I really hope it helps cause I can’t walk in flats so well either.
These Melissa ones, are really cute, and even if I wasn’t a fan of plastic shoes so far, Shoeperwoman has definitely made me change my mind about them. I would love to have those “cherry ones” she has. This is the best pair of Melissas I’ve seen so far.
Filakia polla!!! I’ve missed you too! Hope you get some time to relax from playing in parks. heheh 🙂
