Winter sunsets | Outfits

Winter sunsets - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comIt was a cold, cold, COLD, and windy day and the photoshoot location made it feel even worse than it was, because we were almost in the middle of nowhere, so we froze from the wind. T. had to ask me to please stay still in a few shots, but I was shivering from the cold wind. I thought the blinding sun setting in front of us would help, but no, it didn’t; it only created a yellow/red filter for these photos. Thankfully we didn’t have to stand there for a long time. The funny thing is that it was my arms that were cold and not my legs, which were exposed, even though I was wearing tights. Oh the crazy things, fashion bloggers do for a few outfit photos! 😀

Sweaterdress & over-the-knee socks | Outfits

Sweaterdress & over-the-knee socks 2- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comThis is another look we photographed last month (actually the last one before I took more than a 2-week-break from outfit photos), when the weather was still bearable. It’s the first time I’m wearing these kinds of over-the-knee socks outside, because even though I own them for years, I wasn’t so brave to do so. In my eyes, they can be quite sexy, and I’m not comfortable with looks or even comments from strangers. But this time I decided to find a way to wear them out, and I found that this sweaterdress is the best way to do it, because it’s rather casual and doesn’t leave much skin exposed, due to its length. Paired with my wedge booties, it almost looks as if I’m wearing over-the-knee boots; another trend I never thought would be for me and my bodytype, or even weight.  My mom’s old thin belt and my D&G clutch in the same hue were the perfect touch to the look. Do you like it?

Hey teacher! | Outfits

Hey teacher 8- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comThis outfit was kind of a last minute choice; something that came to me a few minutes before getting ready to head out. I was looking at my clothes to get inspired, and came across this pencil skirt, that I was dying to wear since last year, but still hadn’t have the chance. So when I saw it, I decided I wanted my outfit of the day to be strict, and old school, like a teacher of the “old days”; a style I was always fond of, since my teenage years. I remembered a strict shirt I bought some years ago, but never worn because I decided it aged me. This was the chance to finally wear it, I thought! “I look like an old school teacher or a librarian” I thought when looking in the mirror after getting dressed. “I should definitely wear my eyeglasses, with the look; I think it would look cool”. I added the burgundy bag to go with the frame of my glasses, and even though I’d kill to have a pair of pointy grey pumps (like the Zara ones from last year, I was dying to buy, but never did!), thought the look would be more interesting, and less predictable by wearing a pair of tall black boots. Plus it made the look more casual, and closer to the style I was going for.

Huge thanks to Kleoniki for taking these amazing photos, which I was totally in love with!

A little bit of boho | Outfits

A little bit of boho 2 - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comWe took these photos last week, just before the temperatures dropped a lot. I wanted to wear my cape/poncho for a long time now, but didn’t have the opportunity. So since I knew the weather was gonna drastically change in the next days, I thought this was as good a chance as any, and wore it then. I liked that combo! Simple, comfortable with a little bit of boho in it. What do you think?

Elegant minimalism | Outfits

Elegant minimalism 7- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comAt the end of last week, I decided to wear a really minimal black & white outfit, to go out with T. My only accessory was my new belt (gift from my amazing friend Denise), and this gorgeous handbag by Valentino, that one of my friends lent me for the day (you can find it, among many other designer bags, on my tictail store here, as it’s for sale). And I just love how my white heels compliment the whole look. They go perfectly well with everything. I didn’t know what I was missing before I buy them. For that day, I decided to make an exception and take some photos without my sunglasses on. A rare occasion, don’t you think? I think I deserve to be congratulated. hehe
