Nyx Suede Matte lipstick & Nyx slip tease lip color review

Nyx Suede Matte lipstick & Nyx slip tease lip color review

I recently got these NYX lip products, and I wanted to try them out as soon as I got them. I’ve already tried NYX’s lip pencils in the past, and I really love them, because they’re buttery and great to apply, but I’ve never tried the Suede line, which are matte lipsticks in a wide range of colors, or the Slip Tease, which is a glossy lip product. Let’s start with the NYX Slip Tease, which earned my attention not because it’s a glossy product, but because they said it’s super pigmented AND glossy. So I naturally had to try them out! I can now report, that they’re indeed, very pigmented; you get the full color you see in the tube, and you get a nice opaque and glossy finish, which I quite like. I didn’t expect to like a glossy product that much. But you’re definitely going to see me wearing it. Let’s move on to the NYX Suede Matte Lipstick…The colors are amazing! I’m in love with the “Girl, Bye” one (the one on the right) which is super rich and perfect for fall. It’s buttery, and super easy to apply, but has a matte finish. Unfortunately it’s transferable, but I’m okay with that. You should definitely try at least one of each. You’re gonna love them!

NYX Powder puff lippie review

The powder puff lippie is a new product by NYX, which I recently received from the brand, and I started using it as soon as possible. I received mine in the shade “Best Buds” which is a nice pink/peachy nude. You can see me wearing it in the exact previous post. It’s a creamy lip color, which has an almost matte finish, and leaves a powdery feel on your lips. It’s super strange, nothing like I’ve ever tried before, but at the same time I absolutely loved it. It’s super easy to apply, thanks to the sponge it has on the top of the tube, it has a nice fruity scent, it’s creamy at first, and then turns to powder. It looks matte, but feels creamy and powdery at the same time, and it doesn’t dry my lips. I’ve been using it non-stop this month, and I love both its feel and its color. The only disadvantages I can find to it, and I honestly don’t care much about it, is that it’s transferable, and doesn’t last that long on my lips. And the fact that you will probably need a lip liner before using any of its darker shades. But these are ok by me. I definitely suggest you get one yourself, and try it out! You won’t regret it!
