Dress as a skirt | Outfits

I’m sure you’ve all tried wearing a dress as a skirt in the past, haven’t you? I do it a lot, with some of my dresses, but I’ve never done it with this one. I love how loose and comfortable it is, but at the same time, exactly for the same reason, it can look like a night gown, if not paired with a cardigan/jacket or a belt. And I end up not wearing it as often as I would like to, because I’m tired of the same combinations of items. So, this time, I decided to wear it with one of my thicker sweaters, which also happens to be quite long. I tucked it in, with a belt, to make it shorter, and I think it ended up looking great! For a dose of spring, since we’ve been having amazing weather lately, I wore it with my blue shoulder bag, and for the comfort factor, I also wore it with my everyday ankle boots. What do you think?

Casual in mesh | Outfits

I was in love with this skirt from the moment I saw it at the store. Even though I hadn’t tried it on, I had to buy it when I saw it while I was waiting at the register. And since I bought it, I’ve been trying to find occasions to wear it. I did wear it 2 or 3 times, but all of them I toned it down, so it looks more casual. This time was no different, since I went out in the morning, and returned home, around 10 at night, so I needed something not too casual, not too formal, and still comfortable enough to wear all day long. I was skeptical about the high heeled ankle boots at first, because they’re not the most comfortable shoes I own, but I found them pretty comfortable this time around. Let me tell you, it was a good thing I chose to go with the thick knit, because the weather might have looked warm and sunny, but it was cloudy and windy as hell; also cold…like, super cold. Of course I also had a coat with me, waiting for me in the car, because I’m going nowhere without a coat in winter, but I did miss it while we were taking these photos. Thinking of styling this skirt in a video in 5 different ways soon, so I can have the chance to wear it many more times, before winter is over. How do you like this look?

Blazers & leather skirts | Outfits

This is the last outfit post we shot a while back, when the weather was still amazing…And it’s one of my favorite ones, because it combines 2 of my favorite colors, burgundy and navy blue, with some pink in there too. I love how this skirt looks paired with this blazer, but I didn’t want the look to seem too formal, since I was already going for high heels, so I decided to tone it down, with a simple t-shirt, and minimal silver jewelry. I was originally going to match the shoes with the t-shirt, but at the last minute I decided against it, and chose these dusty pink pumps instead. I’m not sure if that was the right decision, but I do like this look. Nude heels make legs look longer, so I think that it worked in my favor! What do you think about this look?

My casual | Outfits

This is my look from last Thursday! Super casual but my kind of casual, with a dress and a comfortable pair of sandals. I wore it to do some light shopping, and then go visit my parents’ house. I don’t know if you can notice, but I got a little bit sunburned the other day, on my shoulders. I applied sunscreen numerous times, because I knew the sun was super strong that day, but I managed to get sunburned anyway. It probably happened as I was in the sea. It’s fine now, but I realize that it looks super red in the pics, because it was from earlier that day, and also because we took these photos during the sunset, so everything looks redder. I hope you like it. See you again next week.

Nameday ootd | Outfits

This is my outfit of the day, or more appropriately outfit of the night, from last Monday, when it was my nameday. I wanted to wear something chic for a night out for drinks, but didn’t want to look too formal. I wore a midi skirt, I hadn’t worn in years, my magenta lace up pumps, and I dressed down my look with a simple t-shirt. I finished off the look with my blue shoulder bag, which I hadn’t had the chance to wear till now this summer, and some jewelry. I also did quite a bold make up look (for me at least!), which you can see in the vlog, at the end of this post. Hope you like this look. I’ll be back with a new one next week. 馃檪
