When you live in a country like Greece (like I do!) you need to wear sunglasses all year long, but in most countries, people tend to wear them mostly during the summer months. Some people go for black or brown frames, but others prefer buying lighter colors for the spring/summer season. Either way, there are some types of sunglasses which are really popular for summer, like the ones I’m going to show you here today.
I limited my search to a favourite online shop of mine, called Sunglasses Maniac, which stocks many popular brands, such as Vogue, Ray Ban, Celine, Gucci, Prada, Oakley, Persol etc. If you’re a fashionista who loves to follow the seasonal trends, then you’re gonna love this shop. You’ll find some of the most popular designs there, but also all the classic ones too.
Big frames are very popular during summer, and all brands carry such styles. There are also lens options, if you want to go with a darker lens or a lighter one. And not to forget the colored ones which are preferred by many for summer. The styles I chose to feature here today are just a few of the most popular ones, but you’ll find a great variety of the brands mentioned above, there.
My personal favorite, as you might have guessed, is the Ray Ban Folding Wayfarer. I own it myself, and they’re the best buy I’ve ever made. The reason is super simple! They fold into a small square and are super easy to take them with you wherever you go, especially during summer when your clothes & accessories are limited. And they are super stylish, and go with everything you wear, while protecting your eyes from the harmful rays of sun, at the same time.
My opinion is that if you want to choose only one pair of sunglasses, go with something more classic in black or brown (tortoise is also a nice choice). This way you’re not gonna feel bad for spending too much in only one pair because it’s an investment, and you need to take good care of your eyes.
