Looking at this outfit, I don’t think I could have named this post anything less than Barbie Girl. I unintentionally combined two shades of pink: hot pink & dusty pink, and I actually liked the result a lot. It’s a super simple look, something between casual and chic. I didn’t add too much jewelry, except for my watch and simple necklace, even though I could. This top has been in my closet since I was in high school, and I recently re-discovered it in my old clothes, and thought to myself, why not? And this is the skirt I bought last year on sale. It’s suede-like, and super soft, and I like it a lot. Not much to say about this look, but it is my birthday tomorrow, so thinking about what I’ll be wearing that day. Any ideas?
Even though we’ve been having perfectly warm weather these past few days, we did have some very cold ones already, which made me bring out my booties sooner than I had anticipated. I don’t really love fall, the whole temperature drop and decrease of sunlight makes me kind of sad, but I’m trying to get used to it, before the dreadful winter is upon us. The booties I’m wearing in this post though are perfect for non-rainy days, and they’re brand new, so it’s the first time you see me wearing them. I played with burgundy and dusty pink in this outfit; a combination I really loved. And of course I had to match my booties to my (also) new Migato velvet bag, which I’m absolutely in love with and my short-sleeved knit top which is perfect for fall days. I could have done without the fishnet tights, because it turned out to be actually really warm that day, but hey, it’s a fall outfit, so I got to wear tights, rights? haha What do you think guys?
When the days are sunny and warm, you can get away with summer clothes, and add a few winter details in your outfit, to keep yourself warmer, such as tights. Fishnet tights are perfect for this transitional season, because they’re not too warm, and are a big trend since last winter. I didn’t LOVED this combination with my white sneakers but I think they looked quite good. And I really loved the rest of the outfit. You already know that grey and dusty pink is a favorite combination of mine, and this skirt, is so pretty and soft, that I had to wear it again, cause I wore it only once since the day I bought it. All in all it is a great outfit for this season, and I really liked how casual but girly it looked at the same time. Did you like it?
I’m back from Athens, and back to work already! This is the last look we photographed, before my trip and before, dying my hair again. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already seen the change. If not, what are you waiting for? This one was the 4th look from the lookbook I showed you last week, and my favorite of all. I love this pink midi skirt, and I loved the combination with the black crop top and the similar colored block heels. Overall, the result was something I’d happily wear to an event, such as a wedding or even for a night out for drinks. The bubbles added some playfulness to the look of the day, and I love how the camera captures them, even though the lighting wasn’t ideal in all photos. I really hope you like this look. I wore this outfit on my nameday last Saturday, and all I have to say is that I loved it. I bought the skirt a few days ago, on sale, it cost almost 13euros, which was half price, and I really wanted to wear it as soon as possible. The first item that came to mind was of course my dusty pink Migato backpack, and then I thought about combining the skirt with this off-the-shoulder top that I was looking forward to wearing again. While thinking of shoes to go with this outfit, I remembered these pink & black ones, with the studs that go perfectly with my backpack. How didn’t I think of this combo sooner? It’s like a match made in heaven! I look ultra pale in these photos due to the bright daylight, and the white floor that reflects it, but I certainly don’t mind being pale, nor am I looking forward to being “tanned” for summer. I’ve embraced my skin color many years ago, and I feel great in it. Love your skin and bodies ladies. They’re the ones you were born with, and they’re fabulous! 😉 See you soon!
