First communion dresses

A girl’s first communion is really important! It’s a whole event she will remember for the rest of her life. Unfortunately in Greek Orthodox churches, we don’t celebrate our first communion the same way, mostly because it happens at such an early age in our life. But I really wish we did! I’d love to get dressed in those pretty white communion dresses, and prance around in them. That’s why it’s such a great pleasure for me to be talking to you about first communion dresses in today’s post.

I recently discovered an online store called MariaCommunion, which sells communion dresses exclusively. If you take a look around the site, you will see how pretty they are, and you’re going to wish you could back to that day, and pick your dress again. There’s a nice variety of girls’ communion dresses; some floor-length, some below-the-knee, white, off-white, ivory, there are really so many nice options. You can also choose for it to have a bow, or flowers, and you can make your little girl’s look even more wonderful, by adding a hairband, or any other headpiece your girl likes.

First communion dresses

If you ask my opinion, dresses for first communion don’t have to be old-fashioned. Sure, you’d want something more formal for your daughter to wear that day, but give her the freedom to pick her own dress, and maybe go with something less formal, but still appropriate. A nice under-the-knee length, with a bow perhaps; It will give her the liberty to play around and be comfortable in it after her communion, and she can wear it again at some formal event in the future, like a wedding, so it will definitely worth its money.

Whatever she chooses, she will be absolutely beautiful, so make sure to tell her that. Don’t forget to check out MariaCommunion.com for more 1st communion dresses options.
