Once in a while, I do wear a super casual outfit too. You know that my casual style usually involves some low heeled booties at least, but on a very rare occasion I will go out in sneakers too. Believe it or not, I don’t find sneakers that comfortable. I prefer low heeled shoes to sneakers; plus I feel more like myself wearing heels (even lower ones!). That being said, there are days when I just can’t bother with any kind of heels. That was one of those days for me. I wore a simple pair of blue skinny jeans, a light green sweater, my teal green jacket, and my thick teal & blue scarf, which I really really love. I love these colors in winter, and teal used to be my favorite color for years, before I started wearing grey and burgundy more and more. And I love the fact that it makes a nice contract with my red hair. That’s always a plus for me. So what do you think? Do you like my look of the day?

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin perfector C pop review
One of my favorite products of 2017, was definitely this highlighter by Becca Cosmetics, in collaboration with Jaclyn Hill. I’ve only had it in my hands for 2-3 months for the end of 2017, but it definitely won a place in the top 17. The shade is called C-Pop or Champagne pop as some people are calling it, and it’s a perfect rose-gold shimmery shade. I’ve been using it almost non-stop since the day I got it, and you can say it was love at first sight for me. Some people say that its glow is very intense, but I think it’s buildable. You can use it from day to night, and make it as intense as you like. It comes in a really nice round container, with a nice big mirror, which makes it perfect for travelling. Of course I took it with me to Athens last month; I simply couldn’t leave it behind. If you’re looking for a nice highlighter you should definitely check out this one!

The burgundy coat | Outfits
You know how much I love burgundy in winter, and you might have also noticed that I’m slowly trying to expand my outerwear collection for the past few years. So a few weeks ago, I started searching for a new coat, and I found this beautiful burgundy one at Spartoo.gr. It’s from Benetton, and I bought it at 20% off. I got mine at size FR38 (IT42). I was going to size up, to be able to wear thick sweaters under it, but the site said to size down, so I got the 38. I love its color and fit, but it is way thinner than I had anticipated. It is really beautiful though, and I think it looks good on me, so I’d definitely be keeping it. Even though it’s more on the violet side of burgundy, I paired it with my burgundy bag and sweater, and my favorite over-the-knee velvet boots. I loved the look, and I’m glad we were able to photograph it that day, because a lot has happened in my life since then, and that’s why I had to take a week off blogging. I’m back now though, and I’d be posting regularly from now on. Hope you like this look!

Kat von D Alchemist Holographic palette review
The Kat von D Alchemist Holographic palette is one of the most beautiful palettes I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. It has a gorgeous holographic packaging, the palette itself is triangle-shaped, and it has 4 pastel-colored highlighting powders in it. “Emerald” has a green hue, “Saphyre” has a blue hue, “Amethyst” has a violet hue, and “opal” has a pink hue. They’re all holographic and very pretty and all highly-pigmented. A light touch of your brush on them is going to give you extreme glow. That’s even good or bad, depending on how you’re doing your makeup and how much glow you want for it. For me, it’s definitely too much for everyday, so I’m keeping it for very special occasions. My favorite hue is definitely Opal, because it’s the most discreet one, that might give you a more natural glow. Mind you though, there’s nothing natural about these highlighters; the result is gonna be intense. Another thing I didn’t love about this palette, is the size of the pans. They’re tiny, like eyeshadow ones, so if you’re using them a lot, it’s gonna hit pan fast. That compared to the price of the palette is a bit discouraging. But if you love the colors and you love your bold highlighters, go for it. 😉

7 years of blogging | Outfits
Oh my, 7 years of blogging, how fast the time went by? It feels like yesterday that I started this little blog of mine. I couldn’t celebrate my blog’s birthday in another way than an outfit post, could I? Here it is, and a festive outfit post I might add. With a balloon and everything. haha This year we decided against a bigger helium-filled balloon, because it was a total fail, ’cause the helium made the balloon look deflated in last year’s photos, because of the cold weather and we didn’t want to repeat that. So here’s a smaller and cuter one instead. I built the whole outfit around burgundy color, and I really loved how it turned out. It looked even better in real life believe me! I’m definitely going to wear it again for a night out with friends or the boyfriend.
