Denim shorts & off the shoulder tops | Outfits

I got this pair of denim shorts recently and I couldn’t wait to wear it. It’s a bit shorter than I’d like it to be (a constant problem I’ve been having with shorts these past few years as it seems), but long enough not to return them. I paired them with an off-the-shoulder top, a brown cross body bag, and tan sandals. A bit on the boho side for me, but I quite liked it. It’s casual enough but it can easily turn into a night out for summer drinks with friends. What do you think?

Going bananas | Outfits

We shot these pics just a couple of days ago, on a really hot day, among all the rainy ones we’ve been having lately. It’s been a struggle scheduling anything these days. On that same hot day, I was “trapped” somewhere, waiting for the storm to pass. It’s crazy! I really liked the outfit of the day. I got this t-shirt from a hair mask PR kit, the other day, and I couldn’t wait to wear it. I paired it with this beige tulip skirt, with the zipper on the back, and my bright yellow bag. I matched my sunglasses to the colors of my outfit, and wore my platform sandals to finish off the look. So, what do you think?

Culottes & slingbacks | Outfits

I’m looking at these photos and thinking about that warm sunny day, and I miss it so much, because it’s been all about rain lately and I can’t handle it anymore. I just want it to stop. It’s been the second year in a row that’s been raining both on my birthday, and nameday (which was yesterday!), and I hate the weather for that. May was one of the most sunny and carefree months. Not too hot, not too cold, but now it’s moody and rainy all the freaking time. Ending my rant here, to talk about this outfit, that I enjoyed wearing on that warm sunny day. I combined my striped culottes with a crop shirt, that you normally knot on the front, my mom’s handmade bag, and my old D&G slingbacks. Did you know that slingbacks are back? They are, but I can’t say that they’re the most comfortable shoes I own, so I’m not planning on getting a new pair. So what do you think about my look? Hope you like it!

Barbie girl | Outfits

Looking at this outfit, I don’t think I could have named this post anything less than Barbie Girl. I unintentionally combined two shades of pink: hot pink & dusty pink, and I actually liked the result a lot. It’s a super simple look, something between casual and chic. I didn’t add too much jewelry, except for my watch and simple necklace, even though I could. This top has been in my closet since I was in high school, and I recently re-discovered it in my old clothes, and thought to myself, why not? And this is the skirt I bought last year on sale. It’s suede-like, and super soft, and I like it a lot. Not much to say about this look, but it is my birthday tomorrow, so thinking about what I’ll be wearing that day. Any ideas?

Stripes & pleats | Outfits

Writing this post at 12 o’clock at night, thinking about that sunny & super hot day, not even 2 weeks ago, when we shot these photos. It hasn’t been that long, yet the weather did a 180 turn, and it’s been pouring all day every day these days. Hopefully it won’t last that long. But until then, I still have this and a couple more outfits to share with you. This is one of my favorites we shot that day. You know how much I love this skirt, and I keep wearing these heels a lot lately. This time though, I wanted to start incorporating spring pieces to my winter-style wardrobe, so I wore them with this off-the-shoulder top. I really like that result, and I think it’s the first time, that I tried to tuck in that top. It’s actually quite oversized on the waist, and I wasn’t sure I could manage keeping it inside the skirt. Thankfully I did though, and I think it looked amazing. What do you think? Let me know, by leaving a comment below!
