You may remember how much I dislike going downtown, mostly because I hate taking the bus, especially when I’m lugging a huge bag, with my camera and rest of my things on my shoulder for hours. And this seems to be exactly the case lately. I’ve been spending more and more time downtown, and coming home dead tired, and with an almost destroyed arm/shoulder by carrying my camera all day long. And then I spend most of my free time working on my blogs. I don’t complain; I like being busy, but lately I’ve been busier than I’d like to, and I’m starting to detest the city’s center. We took these photos one of those days, on a really cloudy day, just before it was completely dark, hence the quality of these photos. Overcast weather is the standard lately, and I’m starting to miss spring and summer. There’s a really busy week ahead, so let’s start as well as possible.

Black & floral by Axel Accessories | Outfits
On my previous post I talked to you about my collaboration with the Greek brand Axel accessories. Today, I’m going to tell you a few more details. I was asked to pick some items from their current collection and style them, according to my taste. It was really difficult for me to choose the pieces I chose, because the store is huge, and it has a vast range of clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories, in every color and print possible. It took me hours to decide on the items I wanted and then find the right accessories for them, but it was an amazing experience. For a fashion blogger, this is like a kid in a playground. You can imagine my excitement! Thankfully I had my good friend Kleoniki with me to help me decide, and give me her opinion (thank you for your patience Kleoniki). For the first outfit, I picked an amazing black midi skirt, with floral print details, which I paired with a black top with some draping, and these gorgeous bracelets, and bag to add some color to the look. To make it a bit more playful, I added a vintage bright yellow coat on top. I hope you like my styling.

Shopping attire | Outfits
I’m back on outfit posting, and I’m starting this month with another casual outfit. This post could also be named “what to wear when shopping”, because that was exactly the case that day. No I didn’t actually shop anything (as I told you on a previous post, I haven’t done that in a while), but I went to Axel accessories store, to get some items for an upcoming collaboration with them, where I’m gonna style some outfits wearing some of their pieces. But more on that, on the next post! For that day, I wanted to wear something warm, because it was rather cold outside, and at the say time, I wanted to be comfortable, and avoid wearing too many layers because I knew I was going to try out many clothes from the store. So this outfit, served me well, as it’s quite simple, and apart from the oversized vintage sweater you can see here, there’s also a bodysuit underneath it to keep me warm (an item that I wear every time I go out during winter for the past years). What do you usually wear when going shopping?

December 2014 | Wishlist
The 1st of December is already here, and we’re moving fast to the end of the year, fully in Christmas mood and spirit. My wishlist couldn’t be left without some glam and sequins, thinking of the holidays. So I’ve prepared a list of items that caught my eye, and I wouldn’t mind having them in my closet. Although at this moment, I’m just “window-shopping” online, and nothing more than that. I hope you like what I’ve chosen.

Parisian | Outfits
Lately I’ve been really trying to find different ways to style, basically the same pieces from my closet, and I end up relying on last minute’s inspiration (since I have decreased my purchases to 1-2 pieces per season). The results are either on the much casual side, like you’ve seen here and here, or on the dressy ladylike chic style I usually prefer, like on this post, and this one. Either way, I’ve liked the result, and I must say that I have even surprised myself, with creating outfits with the same old pieces. Being a personal style blogger, and showing 3 outfits per week, is not easy, if you don’t shop new pieces to refresh your wardrobe and style your clothes in different ways, in order for them not to look the same all the time. And I’m definitely proud of myself for not being a victim of consumerism, in the middle of the crisis, and for choosing to spend my money on more pressing and important things. So ladies, if you can’t buy new things, for any reason, don’t feel bad; just take a look at all your clothes really carefully, and find hidden treasures in the bottom of your closet, that you might have not worn in years, but can now refresh your style without breaking the bank. Like this shirt, that I’ve had since secondary school, and haven’t worn in years, and that beanie that once belonged to my brother. Brought together to give a fresh note to my old striped dress you’ve seen before, this time belted, and paired with over-the-knee socks giving a Parisian air to the look. I hope you enjoy it!
