Come with me to Belgrade | Travel

At the fortress of Belgrade - DoYouSpeakGossip.comThose of you who follow me on social media know that I took a short trip to Belgrade less than a couple of weeks ago. I just needed to sort out the photos and take some time to post the outfits I still “owed” you since February, but here I am. Long story short, T. had an offer for a 4-day road trip to Belgrade (all expenses paid) and he surprised me with it, almost at the very last minute. Of course it was too good of an opportunity to pass, so I packed my things and went to Belgrade. 12 hours on the road (stops and borders included) and we were there. I didn’t take any photos on the first day, since it was already dark outside, so let’s start with the 2nd one. We drove through the city, and saw some of the sights through the bus, and then we stopped at Saint Sava church, visited the Tesla museum, and walked through Kalemegdan Park and the fortress of Belgrade. We returned at the hotel for dinner, and ended the night in one of the city’s “famous” casinos (!) (We were part of a group so we played along – endless free drinks? why not? hehe). Detailed outfit shots are coming on the next post, and if you want to see some more photos from Belgrade go to my Instagram account. Check the captions under the photos for info.

Stripes & leather under the rain | Outfits

Stripes & leather under the rain 4- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comThese are the last outfit photos from February. This is the outfit I wore to go to Maria’s birthday party that day. It was raining, it was cold, and I was sick, so I wanted to look stylish enough for a party without sacrificing my comfort and my warmth. The dress itself was more casual than I’d prefer for a birthday party, so I combined it with my white blazer with the pleather sleeves, which I haven’t worn in a while, and my high platform mary-jane loafer heels that I wanted to wear for a long time. We took these photos as quick as we could, as we were standing under the rain, and of course my long coat was waiting for me in the car for more warmth. What do you think?

Red peplum | Outfits

Red peplum 2- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comAnother look from the end of February (one more to go, I promise) when the weather was still decent, and another “spur of the moment” outfit. You’ve all have learned by now, that when I’m going downtown, I need to dress more casually, because I usually have to take the bus and the day usually entails a lot of walking or standing at the same spot (oh how much I hate buses!), so the simple outfit shouldn’t be a surprise. But I’m always trying to make my casual looks more interesting by adding some unexpected pieces, such as this peplum top. I’ve been waiting for the weather to become warmer so I could wear it again, and I couldn’t leave this opportunity go by. I wore this outfit for a coffee date with a blogger/friend, Vicky, and found some time to meet up with Anatoli beforehand to take some outfit photos.

Stripes & graffiti | Outfits

Stripes & graffiti 2- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comAnother outfit post left from February. I actually liked this one quite a lot, and it was perfect for an afternoon out with the girls. We took the “mandatory” outfit photos for our blogs, and went for coffee, and some gossip. Once again, blue and black together, in a simple casual chic combination, a style that I wear quite often and I prefer much more than just casual. I’m so glad that the weather lately allows us to wear lighter clothes even though we’re having more and more rain lately. I can’t wait for spring!

Something borrowed & something blue | Outfits

Something borrowed & something blue - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comNope, no one is getting married; it’s just that this expression got stuck on my mind when I was searching for a title. You see, my outfit of the day had something blue in it (blue jeans and baby blue shirt), and Anatoli, suggested that I wear her coat as not to get cold when I was taking photos of her. We liked the coat with my outfit so much that she suggested I should keep it on for my photos as well. And I did, because I loved it, hence the “borrowed” part of the title. I always wanted a red coat, but I need a camel one first. The rest of the outfit is really simple, playing with blue and beige. When I saw the sun shining that day I went for my old cropped jeans, but later realized that maybe I shouldn’t have. At least we managed to take some decent photos and enjoy our day, despite the clouds. What do you think?
