This is probably one of my favorite outfits and set of photos ever, but at the same time, it was difficult to pick a photo where I wouldn’t look bloated AF, or like a long-lost Kardashian sister. I think I managed to do it though, and here is the outfit we photographed about 2 weeks ago, on a really, REALLY hot spring day, under what it felt like 30 Celsius degrees. I recently discovered this handmade top, that was either my mother’s or my aunt’s and I really wanted to wear it with a pencil skirt. I thought I found the perfect one, but I didn’t realize that I’d look 5 months pregnant in that. Bad timing to wear it, but oh well, I loved it anyway. Hopefully I’ll have newer photos to show you soon, this time with my violet hair, since I dyed them again on Sunday (finally! The color had been completely faded after 5 months without me dying them). Not that I don’t like this color, but I really needed to freshen them up! Hope you like today’s look! I added my favorite backpack and my lace up pumps to finish off the look, and I loved how it came out! See you soon with a new review, and a new look! 😉
This is the last look I had photographed back in Thessaloniki, and I can’t believe it’s almost time to go back. How fast the time went, as expected. On Friday, we’d be traveling back home with T. This is an “office” kind of look. I hadn’t worn these pants for a while and I wanted to wear them again! So I combined them with a simple short-sleeved turtleneck top, my favorite leather jacket, my two-toned high heeled pumps and my new scarf, which was a present of my sister-in-law, some time ago. I wore this look for a casual walk with my boyfriend, to go for coffee at a nearby cafe. Do you like this look? I’ll soon show you the first one we shot while we were here in Athens, and hopefully I’ll have a couple more to show you when I get back! 😉
I’ve been using the Kat von D Shade + Light contour palette for a couple of months now, and I honestly love it. I mostly use 3 out of 6 of its powders, the first light one on the left, and the left & middle ones for my contouring. I love the middle one because it’s a bit warmer than the left one, but they’re both amazing colors. I haven’t tried the other 3 yet, because I don’t think they work well for my skin color, but I do love those I’ve already used. I love how thinly cut the powders are, very light on the face, and quite pigmented, so you only need a light touch of the powder to get enough product. They blend out very easily, but due to how powdery the products are, there’s always a mess around them, which I found it’s the only disadvantage of this palette. It has a really nice big mirror on the top, which is perfect for traveling with it, or if you do your makeup on the go. And it has a magnetic close, so it’s super safe to take it with you in your bag. I highly recommend you try this palette, if you love contouring and highlighting your face.
Last week I was in Athens again, for another Sephora event, that I didn’t want to miss. I didn’t take as many photos as the last time, because I was vlogging again, but here are the ones that I did take. Check out the descriptions under the photos for more details, and stay tuned for the vlog soon! 😉
Heyyy! I was finally able to go though the photos I took while I was in Athens, and I’m here to show you the diary from those days. I’ve already uploaded the vlog I filmed on my channel, but since it’s mostly in Greek, I wanted to make a post here as well. This is only part 1 though, because I had too many photos and I didn’t want the post to be cramped with them. We flew to Athens on Tuesday the 5th of September, with T., and arrived there late in the afternoon, but went straight to dinner with family/friends, so I don’t have photos from that day (you might want to watch the vlog though for some #foodporn). On the next day, my girls from Thessaloniki arrived too. You might already know them from their Youtube channels, on the photo above (left to right) we have Maria of Stylebows, Katerina of Kate Tzoe and Thalia of Miss Thalia. The reason we all went to Athens was because we were invited to attend the press event/launch party for Kat Von D Beauty, which is finally coming to Greece at the end of this month. The girls were too tired to do much, but here’s what we did… Read the captions under the photos for more….
