Mint skater dress & ladylike chic | Outfits

21 August, 2013

This outfit was worn and photographed last week, but got postponed to this week, as I told you on my previous post too. I actually wore this outfit again for the first time a few nights earlier… We made some last minute plans, and I had to leave the house, in less than 30’, so I opened my closet, picked up this dress, and the rest came to my mind directly after. I love these kinds of outfits, that not only come to my head immediately, but I end up loving them so much that I don’t want to take them off. So I decided that this outfit had to be photographed! Wore it again a couple of days later, dragged T. to a location I had in mind, and later on we went to eat Chinese. The wind almost sabotaged out little photoshoot, and I was so close to flashing everybody around me, but thankfully that didn’t happen. See how I styled this dress in the past here and here.

    • Well we had so much fun photographing this outfit, with the wind trying to flash everyone around me. Thankfully, I didn’t since it stopped after a while, and I could present you these lovely photos thanks to T. 🙂 I’m glad you liked them.
I wish this was happening more often (getting ready that fast). I usually stare at my closet for far too long before I can decide on what to wear to go out! 🙂
      Makia!

  2. This is why I love dresses so much – they’re just so easy to create an outfit around in a hurry 🙂 You look beautiful as always – that green suits you so well!

    • Thank you very much Amber! 🙂 I learned from the best, that green goes perfectly well with red hair. hehe And yes, dresses are always so easy to create an outfit around in a hurry.

    • Thank you very much! I’m so glad you liked them so much! The reflection must have happened because of the clear plastic part on my shoes; you can only see it from a small distance. I love them too! They’re so beautiful and easy to wear.

  3. Hey M! Love this outfit, you look beautiful as always and so slim these days! Your health kick is definitely paying off. I’m so used to seeing you as a red head now, it was strange to look back at the posts where you wore this dress before, you still looked great but I think your red hair compliments the colour of your dress very well.
I enjoyed the pictures of your road trip, it looks like a very beautiful place and you look so natural and happy there. I’m glad you managed to get away for a few days. I visited London last week to do the tourist thing with my 6 year old niece who was desperate to see Buckingham Palace! We had a great time, it’s definitely a city you could never get bored of. I live in Birmingham which is the second largest city in the UK but it’s like quarter of a city compared to London! You should definitely try and plan a return trip. Hope you have a nice weekend xx

    • Hey Laura! Thank you very much for your compliments! I’ve lost a few pounds but still have long way to go. I’m still at the beginning, but I’m doing my best to eat healthier and work out regularly. Trying to lose the weight slowly so I don’t take it back again. I hope your diet is also going well. Did you buy any new clothes?
It was weird for me too, to see the old posts. Sometimes I miss my old hair color. I think it’s more natural. But I love them both. I guess I’ll go back to that color one day. Red is a great color and it suits me but I’ve heard it’s difficult to keep it for a long time.
I really loved the first place we went to near the Turkish borders:Ardas river. I just love being near nature, it’s so peaceful and beautiful. I’m always happy when I travel to new places. And it seems that I’ll finally go on vacation for a few days next month. Better late than never I guess, since I didn’t go anywhere else all summer.
I agree, that you can’t really get bored of London. Too many places to visit, but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to go everywhere. I definitely want to go back someday, and why not visit other cities of England too. Maybe I’ll visit Birmingham too someday, why not? 🙂 My city is also the 2nd largest city in my country, but much smaller than the capital. I usually prefer smaller cities. I don’t like big crowds.
      Have a great weekend! 🙂
