Last Wednesday we were invited to join the designer of the Petit Tesoro jewelry for a very chic picnic, or #MyChicPicnic as it became more well-known over the next few days. The creator, Stavroula, welcomed us at a lovely place, to get to meet her and her jewelry while we enjoyed colorful desserts from local stores, and we drunk fruit punch. We had an amazing time, and we hope to do it again in the future. Enjoy the photos and make sure to visit Petit Tesoro for more handmade jewelry.
Last week I had the pleasure of being one of the first people to try out the new Nescafe cocktails, Nescafe Sage & Nescafe Verde, at my local Todaylicious stores. Afterwards, I was invited to a party where we drank coffee cocktails, listened to music and took photos with the famous Greek chef Akis Petretzikis, who was also there to celebrate their launch. All and all I had an amazing time, and I photographed everything for you. Check out all the photos below.
On Tuesday, we were invited by TGI Fridays in Thessaloniki to have a sneak preview of their new menu. Basically, we were presented with some new dishes (4 appetizers, 3 main dishes, and 3 milkshakes), which we tried, and afterwards rated according to our taste. I haven’t been invited to anything similar before, and as a huge food lover and a big big fan of TGI Fridays, I was delighted. It was an amazing experience; we tried so many new and different dishes, and we had so much fun! Everything was delicious in its own way. Take a look at the photos below to see what we ate in detail.
Officially, the 4th anniversary of my blog is tomorrow, on the 15th of January, but I usually post on Wednesdays, so I didn’t want to leave my blog without a post, and I decided it was a nice opportunity to celebrate its anniversary for more than 1 day. So today’s post is a celebratory one, with a “birthday” cake and everything. It feels like yesterday that I started blogging but at the same time, it doesn’t. Because I know how much effort I’ve put into this blog, and how much I struggle every day to make it better. Last year, we celebrated my blog’s anniversary with a whole new blog re-design, where we did not just customize a ready-to-install theme, but we built a completely new theme from scratch. When I say we, I mostly mean T., since my knowledge on coding is limited, but credits go to me too, since I gave him the guidelines, and made all the other changes that didn’t require complicated coding. I’m still super content with this theme, so this year, I won’t make big changes. At least not for now… But to celebrate it in a more special way, I have a surprise for you, so better come back tomorrow, on the actual blog anniversary, for it.
Last week, we continued a tradition that started last year; a pre-Christmas gathering to celebrate the holidays together, since everyone will be celebrating the actual Christmas with their families, and some of us won’t even be in Thessaloniki. So, per (new) tradition, we partied with a special photoshoot that this time included 5 out of the 6 members of the Stylishly Beautiful Team. Unfortunately, our 6th member, Denise, couldn’t be with us, because she lives abroad, but George came to Thessaloniki just for this, and we had a day full of photos, homemade sweets, champagne, pretty dresses for the ladies, and of course full of joy! This year, we played around with the concept of this shoot, to make it more fun, and we had T. take some backstage footage to create a video for all of you, and inaugurate our new Youtube channel (make sure to subscribe!). Check out the details and the rest of the team’s blog links, along with the backstage video, down below.
