Sephora extra gentle bi-phase makeup remover for eyes and lips

Sephora extra gentle bi-phase makeup remover for eyes and lips

I started using this make up remover over the past month or so, and so far I’m not impressed with it. It’s indeed very gentle, it has a discreet scent, and it’s bi-phase, so you need to shake it well before using it. But I don’t think that it cleans my makeup as easily and thoroughly as other bi-phase makeup removers, and that bothers me. I need to apply it a couple or more times to remove my makeup properly, and I still see some make up on my disks when I continue with my cleansing milk and toning lotion. So I don’t find it as potent as other make up removers. It’s not bad, but I won’t be purchasing it again in the future. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette review

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette reviewThe people who know me, know that I rarely wear eyeshadow on my eyes. Most of the times, I just wear my eyeliner and I’m ready to go out. But since the moment I got this Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Heat eyeshadow palette, I fell so in love with these warm toned colors, that I felt the need to experiment with my makeup more. So I started using this more and more often, and these days, I don’t even bother using my eyeliner. Most of the times, I combine 2-3 eyeshadow colors from this palette on my eyes, put on some mascara and I’m ready to go. So the first reason I loved this palette it’s because of its colors, that go perfectly well with my skin tone, and my hair color. But they’re very well-pigmented too, and they also blend well, which is always a plus, and the colors are quite long-lasting too. I also loved the cute brush that comes with the palette. It makes it so easy to do your makeup. It also closes very well with a magnet, so you can take it anywhere with you. So if you are in search for a good eyeshadow palette in warm colors I strongly suggest you get this one here.

Kat von D Shade & Light Contour palette review

Kat von D Shade & Light Contour palette reviewI’ve been using the Kat von D Shade + Light contour palette for a couple of months now, and I honestly love it. I mostly use 3 out of 6 of its powders, the first light one on the left, and the left & middle ones for my contouring. I love the middle one because it’s a bit warmer than the left one, but they’re both amazing colors. I haven’t tried the other 3 yet, because I don’t think they work well for my skin color, but I do love those I’ve already used. I love how thinly cut the powders are, very light on the face, and quite pigmented, so you only need a light touch of the powder to get enough product. They blend out very easily, but due to how powdery the products are, there’s always a mess around them, which I found it’s the only disadvantage of this palette. It has a really nice big mirror on the top, which is perfect for traveling with it, or if you do your makeup on the go. And it has a magnetic close, so it’s super safe to take it with you in your bag. I highly recommend you try this palette, if you love contouring and highlighting your face.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age concealer review

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age concealer review

This review is long due, and I really wanted to talk to you about this product. I actually hadn’t written a review in quite a while, that’s why, but I think it’s finally time to have a talk about it. You may have heard about Maybelline’s Instant Anti-Age concealer before, or you might know it as Instant Age-Rewind concealer, as it’s more well-known in other countries. We actually didn’t have it in Greece till a few months ago, when it was finally released, and I’ve heard so much about it, that I was dying to try it out. Thankfully Maybelline sent me one of the first ones to try and I can see why there’s been such a hype about it. It’s really light-weight, it conceals my dark circles perfectly, it doesn’t stay in the fine lines, but it stays put for hours, and doesn’t need any setting powder on it. It’s very easy to use, by twisting its body, and applying it with the sponge on top of the product, you get just the right amount. I also love the fact, that you can see how much product you have left, so you can buy another one before this one finishes. The only thing I would love, is if we had more shades of the product, available in Greece, because this Beige Nu, might be light enough to use, but it’s still darker than my skin, so when I’m using a lighter foundation, I can’t use this one. Other than that, it’s perfect. Have you tried it? What’s your opinion about it?

Garnier Micellar Oil-infused cleansing water review

Garnier Micellar Oil-infused cleansing water review

I’ve been using this oil-infused Micellar cleansing water by Garnier, for few months now, and I’m very satisfied by it. It’s a very potent makeup removing cleansing water, that is not at all oily, and doesn’t need to be washed off. It’s suitable for even waterproof makeup products, and you can use it on your whole face, eyes and lips. It’s suitable for sensitive skins, and it’s 400ml of product which will give you about 200 uses. You just shake the product before using it, and then put it on a cotton pad to remove your makeup. It has a very nice scent, which is not too intense and it removes your makeup easily and completely. It’s one of the best and most inexpensive micellar waters I’ve used and I’ll probably re-purchase it when this bottle is over.
