NARS Dragon Girl Velvet Matte Lip Pencil review

NARS Dragon Girl Velvet Matte Lip Pencil review

Today, I’m reviewing NARS’ Dragon Girl Velvet Matte Lip Pencil and I can’t believe it took me that long to do it. It’s a perfect red color, that comes in the form of a lip pencil. It’s a very vibrant, cherry-red, with cool undertones, which I love. It’s super easy to use, and gives you precision, since it’s a pencil rather than a classic lipstick, but it’s creamy and quite opaque. It’s not drying, but it’s not moisturizing either. It lasts a long time on your lips, without having to re-apply it’s perfect for summer or winter, and it’s almost matte without too much of a transfer when drinking/eating. I really like its color, so if you don’t mind the hefty price tag, go for it!

Becca Hydra Mist set & refresh powder review

Becca Hydra Mist set & refresh powder review

I’ve been trying out this powder, since the moment I got my hands on it, because I had heard such raving reviews about it, that I wanted to try it myself. It’s super lightweight, finely cut, and translucent. It leaves your skin feeling cool and hydrated when it touches it, and that’s why it’s called hydra-mist. The product has a large percentage of water in it, and that feeling is indeed unique. But, it’s not long-lasting, and the most oily areas on my face need powdering again after just a few hours. And it’s even worse when applied to my eyelids. For me, it works better on the face, compared to the eyes, but still it’s an expensive product that doesn’t offer that much (in my opinion). I’m not that impressed with it, so I don’t think I’ll be re-purchasing it again in the future. Have you tried this powder? If yes, let me know what you thought of it.

Nars Bronzing Powder review in “Casino”

Nars Bronzing Powder review Casino

Let’s talk about Nars’ bronzing powder in the shade “casino”. I got it a couple of months ago, when the brand officially entered the Greek market, through Sephora, and I immediately liked its shade. It’s a very natural and warm color, that works great for light skintones such as mine. It’s easily blendable, and you can build the color for a more intense look, or if you have a darker skintone than mine. You get that beautiful bronzed look we all want for the summer days in a very natural way, and it’s my go-to product these days. So say bye bye to contouring, and hello to bronzing, because summer wants you more natural and radiant. Check it out at your local Sephora or online.

JLo x Inglot eye shadows & sculpting powder review

JLo x Inglot eye shadows & sculpting powder review

I’m sure you already know by now, that Jennifer Lopez has collaborated with Inglot, and launched a new collection of makeup products. The collection is called JLo x Inglot, and I’m lucky to have tried some of the amazing products of this collaboration. Today I’m reviewing, the eye shadows, and the HD Sculpting powder, and I have only good news to share with you. First of all, I have the shades Sienna and Copper in my freedom system palette, which are 2 of the most popular colors of the collection, and as you can imagine, my personal favorites. Sienna is a nice matte burnt orange shade, which is very special, and copper is a medium/dark copper with orange/red undertones and a pearly finish. They both have great pigmentation and can be used together (or not) to create a nice warm eye look. They are both very easy to blend too. The HD Sculpting powder is in Cocoa shade, which is the lightest one, and it’s the perfect shade for fairer skintones, like mine. It’s as pigmented as it needs to be, and I love its shade. The packaging of the freedom palette itself is also very pretty, since it’s been adorned with minimal graphics and the name of Jennifer Lopez on the top lid. Of course, the palette is magnetic as every freedom system palette of Inglot, which is something I really love, so you can play around and create a unique palette for you, with the colors you love. Make sure to check the products out at Inglot stores worldwide.

Sephora extra gentle bi-phase makeup remover for eyes and lips

Sephora extra gentle bi-phase makeup remover for eyes and lips

I started using this make up remover over the past month or so, and so far I’m not impressed with it. It’s indeed very gentle, it has a discreet scent, and it’s bi-phase, so you need to shake it well before using it. But I don’t think that it cleans my makeup as easily and thoroughly as other bi-phase makeup removers, and that bothers me. I need to apply it a couple or more times to remove my makeup properly, and I still see some make up on my disks when I continue with my cleansing milk and toning lotion. So I don’t find it as potent as other make up removers. It’s not bad, but I won’t be purchasing it again in the future. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
