Peplum, polka dots and neon

22 May, 2012

I’m finally back to normal blogging which means I don’t have to schedule posts days ahead anymore. I’ve been so busy and tired these last week, but I also had an amazing time. As I told you on my previous posts, I had my birthday on Wednesday the 16th, which I celebrated with my bf who came to town for me. And then I had a party with a few of my closest friends on Saturday the 19th, which means that I had to do an enormous amount of baking, and cooking, with the help of my mother again. I couldn’t have done it on my own. I was in the kitchen for 3 whole days, and that’s why I wasn’t so much around last week, but I read all posts on my Bloglovin’ feed, and I caught up with your latest posts. I’m gonna make some posts about my birthday and my party later on the week, (or next week, we’ll see), but for now here’s the outfit I wore on my trip to Xanthi, where I went to see my bf who’s in the army there doing his mandatory service.

Peplum top: H&M, Jeans: Lee, bag: Savil, shoes: D&G, sunglasses: Folding Ray-Ban Wayfarers, watch: Michael Kors, neon necklace worn as bracelet: H&M.

I also had my balayage highlights freshened up the previous day, and they straightened my hair for me. Do you like it?

While I was at the city center for my hairdresser I visited some stores, and went home only with this neon necklace, which I like wearing as a bracelet as well. Loved the pop of neon in the otherwise monochromatic outfit!

And this is Shoe Save #4/56 for Shoeperwoman.com.

My first nude pair of pumps, and I believe my first D&G item ever bought. 🙂

I hope you liked this outfit. Stay tuned for more!!!

  5. I have yet to try a peplum top. This one is cute…love the color and the polka dots! Love the straight hair, too. Wish mine could get that straight. What kind of highlights are those? Never heard of it.

    • Thank you so much, both for your birthday wishes and your comments!
I believe even the most curly hair can get so straitened…Mine, are mostly wavy, so it’s easier…
You should search for the balayage method for highlights, it’s really popular for the past 5-7 years. Most celebrities use this method for their highlights….My hairdresser have been using this method on me for years, since the first time I got highlights…You can learn more about this method here. 🙂
