Back to casual | Outfits

6 May, 2013

Good morning everybody! How was your weekend? I hope everyone who celebrated Easter yesterday had a really nice time. Today I’m showing you a really basic outfit, which is as casual as it usually gets. The shoes have been worn (and saved) according to the rules of the Shoeper Shoe Challenge I was taking (#64) by Shoeperwoman.com. I don’t wear so pointy shoes anymore, but I used to wear them a lot when I was younger. Nothing more to say here, the outfit is really simple and I wear such outfits all the time. They’re comfortable and great to throw on when you’re in a hurry! See you all next time!

  1. I love the jeans and the shoes with kitten heels! Everything you wear is distinguished!!! And beautiful! Also, what for an amazing ring! So, end of a long but nice weekend – it was holiday here yesterday! Hope you are fine, the weather seems to be lovely there, it’s 22 here today – and I miss winter 🙂 Makia!

    • Thank you my sweet friend. It was a really simple and casual look. My spring uniform. Jeans are replaced with shorts in summer for the same casual look.
I’m glad you had a nice long weekend. As you know we celebrated Easter on Sunday, so we ate lots of food. And we celebrated May Day today (transfered from the 1st of May, which is its usual celebration day).
Today the day was cloudy (as was yesterday) but still quite warm (around 25-28 degrees). Most people have already hit the beaches. haha How can you already miss winter? 22 is still cold enough hehe
      Makia!

  2. Hey M! What you are wearing in this post looks like my summer uniform (except when I get chance to wear a dress!) I like your top, it can be hard to find a simple vest top that fits properley, I find they’re often too low cut and that’s no good when you have big boobs like me!
Hope you had a fab Easter. Do you have chocolate eggs like we do? It was a holiday here in the uk yesterday too (May Day) and for once the sun was out all day, it was glorious! Me and the bf went to a countryside village famous for its ice-cream, it was ace! xx
PS I have just googled ‘name day’ (mentioned in your previous post) which I’d never heard of, we don’t have them here. If you’re not named after a saint do you miss out on a name day? Sounds fun anyway, any excuse for a party!

    • Hey Laura! Thank you very much! This is a really simple and casual look and it’s my usual spring uniform. It would be too hot for our summer, but I replace my jeans with shorts, and it’s transformed into my summer uniform. hehe I was thinking the same thing these days. I love these simple tank tops and I should have bought more than 2. It has a really nice zipper in the back so it’s not that plain and I like that it is long, and it covered my waist and part of my thighs. I have small boobs but low cuts are not good for me either.
We do have chocolate eggs, but we boil and dye eggs too (we usually make them red). And we make other foods too for Easter, like mageiritsa, tsourekia, lumb, and kokoretsi. I’m going to post some pics of our Easter table tomorrow if you’re interested.
So nice that you got to enjoy a nice and sunny day. We celebrate May Day today (it’s usually celebrated on the 1st of May) and it’s a public holiday as well.
Haha yes, name days are not celebrated everywhere in the world, but many countries have them. It’s always nice to have a nameday, and I’ll take any excuse for partying. I actually have 2 names, and 2 namedays (one of them is celebrated this month). But there are some people that don’t have a nameday, because they’re not named after a saint.

  3. Simple, casual, stylish and timeless. Tee and skinnies is pretty much my everyday look as well. It’s fantastic base for any look- dress it up or dawn. Gorgeous nail art design!
