Hello my loves! Happy Monday! I’m starting this week with a special outfit post, which coincidentally is the last outfit of the month. I know I haven’t showed you as many outfits as usual this month, but I’ll try to make it up to you the next one. This post was named by T. due to the look of my dress. You see, I initially ordered this dress thinking I could wear it to a wedding I have to attend next month, but it was much darker and had a more “grande” look to it in real life. Not that it’s a bad thing, but T. telling me that I looked like a black widow, definitely put a stop to my thought. To be honest, I loved it, in all its “grand-ness”! It’s really beautiful and has a very good quality for its price. I’ve already thought of the way I’m going to wear it the next time around. This time though, I wore it purely for the photos, because I didn’t have anywhere to go wearing that dress, that day. It’s not for everyday life, but it’s definitely an outstanding piece. I just have to find the right occasion to wear it again! What do you think? Do you like it?

TGI Fridays Sneak previews
On Tuesday, we were invited by TGI Fridays in Thessaloniki to have a sneak preview of their new menu. Basically, we were presented with some new dishes (4 appetizers, 3 main dishes, and 3 milkshakes), which we tried, and afterwards rated according to our taste. I haven’t been invited to anything similar before, and as a huge food lover and a big big fan of TGI Fridays, I was delighted. It was an amazing experience; we tried so many new and different dishes, and we had so much fun! Everything was delicious in its own way. Take a look at the photos below to see what we ate in detail.

Brown & stripes | Outfits
This outfit is as fresh as it gets! We took these photos yesterday afternoon, before we went out for dinner with T. and Kleoniki. We were invited by TGI Friday’s Greece, to taste some of the dishes that are going to be in their new menu, and of course we said yes, since it’s one of our favorite restaurants. We tried so many things, that we could barely move afterwards. But more on that, on my next post! Lately, we had a drop in temperature, courtesy of the rainy weather, so I had to wear a jacket. I was this close, to changing my whole outfit, but I decided against it, and I’m glad I didn’t. The outfit actually looked much better in real life, than in these photos, but we didn’t have much time to search for a better location. I guess it’s this time of the year when you start adding layers to your looks. Jackets are a great way to transition into fall, while still wearing your summer dresses. I hope you like this look!

Maxi mint dress | Outfits
Lately, my choice in outfits goes somewhat like this: I open my closet, find the pair of shoes I haven’t worn in “ages”, then pick the clothes that can go with it (double score if it’s an item I haven’t worn for a long time!), and accessorize it. Ready! Maxi dresses that touch the ground can be tricky. I always wear mine with high heels, because I really don’t want my dress to get dirty, and then I usually lift it up with my hands a little bit when climbing stairs, to be sure not to step on it and fell flat on my face. Maxi dresses are perfect for the transitional season; because they keep you warm enough, and can easily be layered with a pashmina or a jacket/blazer. It was too hot for that though, so I just wore mine with a favorite pair of heels and my mint/floral clutch bag. Doesn’t it look great? I’ll be waiting for your comments! 🙂
