I was originally going to post something else today, but sometime last week, I received this beautiful pair of heels by the purely Greek company Sante shoes and I couldn’t wait to show them to you. Of course those of you who follow me on social media might have already seen them, but these shoes deserved a post on this blog, as all my New-ins. I’m sure you’ll see them really soon on my feet in an outfit post. Just wait! 😉

Sightseeing in Novi Sad | Outfits
As promised, here is the outfit I was wearing on our 3rd day in Serbia, when we visited the city of Novi Sad, and it’s actually the last post about my trip. I hope you enjoyed my travel posts, because I sure enjoyed sharing them with you. As the day was sunny and warm enough I wore a lighter outfit than in the previous days, and I combined my favorite tartan shirt with my navy blue cropped top (unfortunately the shirt got wrinkled during the trip, but I wore it anyway). The photos were taken in Petrovaradin Fortress, and even though it was super sunny, it was also quite windy. Enjoy the photos and see you on my next post!

Come with me to Novi Sad, Serbia | Travel
Our 3rd day in Serbia, we travelled about one hour far from Belgrade, to the 2nd largest city of the country, Novi Sad. We were lucky to have the weather by our side that day; it really felt like spring. Our first stop was Petrovaradin Fortress, where we saw the city from above. 2nd stop was the city’s center, where we wandered and got to see the city ourselves (without our guide), till we stopped for lunch. We returned to Belgrade in the afternoon where we walked through the city, did some shopping (you’ll soon see the contents of my bag, for those of you who follow me on Instagram – but this will probably happen early next month), and ended our last night in Belgrade, in Skadarlija a really picturesque cobbled street with bars and restaurants. The outfit-of-the-day photos are coming on my next post… Have a great weekend, and see you all on Monday! Don’t forget to follow me on social media.

Comfy at Belgrade fortress | Outfits
The number one rule for me when I’m traveling is to stay warm and be comfortable. Traveling in my opinion is all about sightseeing, and walking long distances to get to experience the city you’re visiting, as much as you can. But if you’re feeling uncomfortable, you can’t enjoy the trip, so stay warm and wear comfortable clothes and shoes is my advice. You’ve seen part of my outfit in my previous post, my photo-diary from my 2nd day in Belgrade, but here is the full outfit with all its details. This top (with what I like to call bat-sleeves) has been in my closet for ages, and it used to be one of my favorite pieces. I used to be obsessed with this kind of sleeves, and it’s not the only top I own in this style. I haven’t worn it in a while but it was the perfect layering piece for my trip, so it went straight to my suitcase and came with me. I hope you like the look. Let me know by leaving a comment below.

Come with me to Belgrade | Travel
Those of you who follow me on social media know that I took a short trip to Belgrade less than a couple of weeks ago. I just needed to sort out the photos and take some time to post the outfits I still “owed” you since February, but here I am. Long story short, T. had an offer for a 4-day road trip to Belgrade (all expenses paid) and he surprised me with it, almost at the very last minute. Of course it was too good of an opportunity to pass, so I packed my things and went to Belgrade. 12 hours on the road (stops and borders included) and we were there. I didn’t take any photos on the first day, since it was already dark outside, so let’s start with the 2nd one. We drove through the city, and saw some of the sights through the bus, and then we stopped at Saint Sava church, visited the Tesla museum, and walked through Kalemegdan Park and the fortress of Belgrade. We returned at the hotel for dinner, and ended the night in one of the city’s “famous” casinos (!) (We were part of a group so we played along – endless free drinks? why not? hehe). Detailed outfit shots are coming on the next post, and if you want to see some more photos from Belgrade go to my Instagram account. Check the captions under the photos for info.
