November is almost over and as usual I’m pausing my outfit posting for a little bit, to do my month’s recap through pics. November was quite a full month, with me covering a fashion show in my city, attending a few other small events, taking outfit photos, working on Stylishly Beautiful, organizing upcoming things and meeting friends. And it seems that December will be even busier, but no, I’m not complaining. I love being busy, as long as I can find some time to do my job, working on my blogs that is, and meeting with my boyfriend and friends. Let’s take a look at the pics of the month down below, and tell me all about your month, by leaving a comment under this post. 😉

Parisian | Outfits
Lately I’ve been really trying to find different ways to style, basically the same pieces from my closet, and I end up relying on last minute’s inspiration (since I have decreased my purchases to 1-2 pieces per season). The results are either on the much casual side, like you’ve seen here and here, or on the dressy ladylike chic style I usually prefer, like on this post, and this one. Either way, I’ve liked the result, and I must say that I have even surprised myself, with creating outfits with the same old pieces. Being a personal style blogger, and showing 3 outfits per week, is not easy, if you don’t shop new pieces to refresh your wardrobe and style your clothes in different ways, in order for them not to look the same all the time. And I’m definitely proud of myself for not being a victim of consumerism, in the middle of the crisis, and for choosing to spend my money on more pressing and important things. So ladies, if you can’t buy new things, for any reason, don’t feel bad; just take a look at all your clothes really carefully, and find hidden treasures in the bottom of your closet, that you might have not worn in years, but can now refresh your style without breaking the bank. Like this shirt, that I’ve had since secondary school, and haven’t worn in years, and that beanie that once belonged to my brother. Brought together to give a fresh note to my old striped dress you’ve seen before, this time belted, and paired with over-the-knee socks giving a Parisian air to the look. I hope you enjoy it!

A tartan affair | Outfits
I’m back with another pencil skirt and an outfit I actually saw in one of my dreams, and woke up with the mood for it. So since the weather is getting colder and colder, and it’s no longer comfortable to go out bare-legged, this was probably my last chance to wear it. Not that I didn’t feel cold after sundown, but I was mostly indoors that day, so it wasn’t that bad. As you’ll notice, my belt and my cat-eye sunglasses are my only accessories to this outfit. I think I’m getting back to my old self, when my only accessory was my watch. But it’s probably just a phase. Hope you like this look!

Hey teacher! | Outfits
This outfit was kind of a last minute choice; something that came to me a few minutes before getting ready to head out. I was looking at my clothes to get inspired, and came across this pencil skirt, that I was dying to wear since last year, but still hadn’t have the chance. So when I saw it, I decided I wanted my outfit of the day to be strict, and old school, like a teacher of the “old days”; a style I was always fond of, since my teenage years. I remembered a strict shirt I bought some years ago, but never worn because I decided it aged me. This was the chance to finally wear it, I thought! “I look like an old school teacher or a librarian” I thought when looking in the mirror after getting dressed. “I should definitely wear my eyeglasses, with the look; I think it would look cool”. I added the burgundy bag to go with the frame of my glasses, and even though I’d kill to have a pair of pointy grey pumps (like the Zara ones from last year, I was dying to buy, but never did!), thought the look would be more interesting, and less predictable by wearing a pair of tall black boots. Plus it made the look more casual, and closer to the style I was going for.
Huge thanks to Kleoniki for taking these amazing photos, which I was totally in love with! ♥

My lucky charm | Outfits
This outfit was inspired by my new lucky charm key chain, which I received from Zoulovits for 2015. Last year, I went for a red & green one with a ship charm, but this year, I preferred something more Greek, like the electric blue “evil eye”. It’s custom to buy a lucky charm like this every year, before New Year’s so it will bring good luck to you for the year to come. Here’s hoping! As for my outfit, I took the chance to wear a fall appropriate outfit, before the winter officially comes, something that I’m sure will happen soon. It was already a bit chilly for this combo, and my d’orsay pumps so I don’t think I’ll have more chances to wear them again before spring arrives. I hope you like the result!
