Here comes the cold 6- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

This outfit is as casual as it gets. Really! Comfortable pants, chunky knit, biker boots, almost no-makeup. I wore it to a coffee date with Kleoniki and Sonia, and to be honest I wasn’t feeling like wearing anything else, because I was really tired and sleepy from the previous day, hence the almost no-makeup. You see, the previous night we were still working on the new theme for the site, and we stayed up till the morning in order to make it public before sunrise but due to some issues, we had to do that later in the day. So T. and I both slept very little and felt drained for the rest of the day. But I think it was worth it. Don’t you think? Did you like my new theme? I had it in mind for months now, and wanted the change to coincide with my blog’s anniversary. Anyhow, I got home just 2 hours before my date with the girls, cooked something to eat and then got ready and left. I’m always stressed as hell but always find a way to make things work. So proud! hehe Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below.

5th anniversary | Outfits

5th anniversary 7- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

Oh my, how quickly the years go by… My little blog now celebrates its 5th anniversary today, and as I always say, I couldn’t be more excited about it. We wanted to do something bigger for the anniversary post, but plans didn’t go as we wanted, so our “celebrations” are really low-key this year. But if everything has gone according to plan, you must be seeing the new (and hopefully improved!) Do You Speak Gossip? since T. and I had been working on a redesign for 2016. We didn’t change much, since we wanted something fresh, but still practical for both you and me. So we tweaked the old theme a bit, and we really hope you like the changes we made (they’re mostly done to the homepage of the site).

Culottes in winter | Outfits

Culottes in winter 7- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

I had to run some errands the other day, and then I met with T., took some photos, and hit some stores; all of these in this outfit. The weather was warm enough to go out in a light sweater, and I had the chance to wear my culottes again. I really wanted to pair them with boots this time, with a more winter feel to them, and I also combined the whole look with burgundy accessories. And I must say that I loved the result, and so did T. who complimented my look. So if you’re afraid of culottes, don’t be! They’re stylish, they’re comfortable and can be worn all year long with the right accessories.

Double plaid | Outfits

Double plaid 4- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

I had this outfit on my mind since last year, but I didn’t have the chance to “bring it to life” then. But that’s okay! I managed to do it now, and even though I was reluctant at first, because I didn’t know if I’d like the double plaid in contrasting colors, I actually loved the result! This is the 5th look of my lookbook video (go here to watch it now, and make sure to subscribe for more!), which I’ve promised you on Friday! Hopefully I’ll be back with more new posts, really soon, because I’m all out! The big anniversary of the blog is coming again and I’m stressed because I’m not sure I’ll manage to realize everything I have in mind for it. Hopefully, I will! We’ll have to wait and see! So, what do YOU think of the double plaid/tartan situation of this post, and the contrasting colors red/green/blue?

Gray on gray | Outfits

Gray on gray 5- outfits - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

If you’ve watched my latest video (it was a haul one, you can watch it here – don’t forget to subscribe!), then you’ve definitely seen this pretty coat that came to me in the mail via Relaxfeel. It was the first time for me, collaborating with this shop, so I was eager to receive it. I was excited to find out, that it was exactly as it looked in the photos. The belt is not included, but I loved the look from their photos so I added one of mine. I was eager to see if it would fit me properly, and I’m happy to say that it does. It’s light (the fabric is not very thick, but it’s warm) and comfortable. I wore it here, with a super simple outfit, with the exception of the heels, to make it the star of the look, but I’ve also layered it on top of the previous outfit easily. I love the slim minimal look it gives to my outfits and you’re definitely going to see it again and again in my future posts. My outerwear collection has some gaps, which I’d love to feel with more pretty coats like this one. Next on my list, a camel & a red one. What do you think?
