Working girl 4- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

Remember what I told you on my previous outfit post? That sometimes I like experimenting with my style. Well, this usually happens during the months of transition between seasons. I often find myself wondering what to wear in this unpredictable weather, so I get a little bit more creative with what I have in my closet. Sometimes it’s something good, sometimes it’s a complete fail, but no matter what, I try to wear it with confidence and own the style. Even when it’s something that might look old-school, like this one here, I like to find ways to make it look good. And even though it’s more conservative than my usual looks, I quite like it. Do you?

Something borrowed & something blue | Outfits

Something borrowed & something blue - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comNope, no one is getting married; it’s just that this expression got stuck on my mind when I was searching for a title. You see, my outfit of the day had something blue in it (blue jeans and baby blue shirt), and Anatoli, suggested that I wear her coat as not to get cold when I was taking photos of her. We liked the coat with my outfit so much that she suggested I should keep it on for my photos as well. And I did, because I loved it, hence the “borrowed” part of the title. I always wanted a red coat, but I need a camel one first. The rest of the outfit is really simple, playing with blue and beige. When I saw the sun shining that day I went for my old cropped jeans, but later realized that maybe I shouldn’t have. At least we managed to take some decent photos and enjoy our day, despite the clouds. What do you think?

Preppy or sporty? | Outfits

Preppy or sporty 6- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comLately, I can’t seem to find anything to wear until the very last minute, which is something frustrating but surprising and fun at the same time. It’s frustrating because I’m running like crazy, always stressed that I’m gonna be late, but surprising and fun, because usually, at the last minute I tend to create some of my favorite looks (and surprise, surprise, NOT to be late!). This is what happened in this case when I went to meet Maria of Style Bows and Anatoli of From An.ni with love last week. I’m really pleased with the result though. I ended up wearing it all day, and switched to my Betty London ankle boots for a relaxed night out. What do you think?

Preppy in tartan | Outfits

Last week 2 of my friends paid me a little visit, to celebrate New Year together, with finger food and cocktails. Before that, we went for photos as usual. For that day, I chose something really casual in the tones of burgundy, because we were staying in and I wanted to be comfy and relaxed. Please excuse my lack of posing/awkwardness…I was in extreme muscle pain that day. I could barely move my head. 2014 definitely started impressively! 😛

Office preppy chic | Outfit post

I used to love chic outfits for the office, even when I was a teenager. I’d never had the chance to work in such a workplace so far, but finding this vintage jacket of my mom hiding in our attic, brought me back the need to dress like an old-school teacher or something, at least for a day. So I jumped in my wide legged pants, old super-pointy stiletto heels and added some fresher details like the bag, and the necklace. I know that’s not a look that everyone will love, and to be honest, I’m not sure I liked how it looked in these pictures, but it was fun to dress like this for a day, and I couldn’t resist posting the photos we took, even if the sun was playing games with the clouds the whole time, making it difficult for us to shoot these.
