Day 5 in Chios – The outfit

23 July, 2012

The day after the wedding, my mom promised to take me to the place I spotted at Day 1, to take my outfit photos, just before we started our next trip to the nearby villages.  It was a very cute and picturesque marina very close to our hotel. I really liked this place, and I wanted it to be one of the locations I used for my outfit photos. The wind was blowing like crazy, but that didn’t stop me from wearing my strapless dress, and pose for photos.

Strapless dress from a local shop in Chalkidiki, my Savil bag, Buffalo Dasia sandals via Spartoo.gr, Ray-Ban Folding Wayfarer sunglasses, Michael Kors rose gold watch and gifted bracelets from friends.

As I told you before these sandals are one of the most comfortable shoes I own so far. However, as we were traveling to small villages with stone and pebble roads I changed into my trusty plastic flats (here), for most of the trip.

But they are gorgeous! Aren’t they?

Tomorrow I’ll be back from my vacation to Chalkidiki, but I’ll continue my posts about Chios. There are so many beautiful places I want to show you. So don’t go anywhere! 😉

    • The Greek weather is super hot! I can’t stand to be out in the sun for long. At least I went swimming a few times last week. But now I’m back to my house, and my AC. hehe

    • Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your amazing comments on my posts.
I came back from Chalkidiki yesterday, so I didn’t have the chance to comment back earlier. 🙂

  1. Fantastic pictures as usual! My favorite is the one where you are holding your dress! I loved this dress with these beautiful sandals and the place as well! Very beautiful sea, sunny and peaceful! What-for-a-fantastic-place, eager to be there!
I won’t write much more cause I’m a bit thoughtful today… some unfair things, you know… but Ok, making up my mind. I suppose I’ll stay here.
Anyway, I hope you are enjoying a lot in Chalkidiki!

    • I’m so glad you liked my country! Greece has many nice cities, and islands to visit. And the sun, and beaches are always fine, although it can get really hot in summer.

    • Thank you sooo much Ela! I’m so glad you liked my outfit and this post so much!
Oh I try to smile in pics, but when I’m taking them myself, it feels so silly to laugh all alone. hehe My neighbors may already think that I’m crazy for taking pics of myself.
