Despite the intense headaches I’ve been experiencing lately, as I told you on my previous post as well, I managed to shoot another outfit. For this look, I wanted to mix different shades of green. Khaki green, mint green, pastel green; mixed together, to create a rather different look for me, since you know I always prefer to match my colors. The khaki green looked a bit out of place, but all in all I liked the look. The long trench coat was all the “protection” I needed for the light breeze we had that day. As you can see it was another super sunny day, and I was able to wear a light shirt. It makes me incredibly happy being able to wear my pointy pumps and light shirts again, and play with various (but still light) layers of clothes. I hope you like this look. The day yesterday was quite amazing. Not too hot, just enough, not too cold, just enough. We took these photos as we left the house to go meet some friends for coffee, and we had such a great time. The temperature was really ideal! Unfortunately, when I returned home, I had to change into something warmer to go meet another friend, because we’re now back to cool weather again. Back to the outfit though… This outfit was again a spur of the moment. I actually had a different pair of shoes in mind for it, but changed my mind, because these ones looked even better. The sleeveless trench coat created a length contrast with the dress and completed the outfit nicely. No other accessories needed! The shoes are stunning and comfortable so it was a double win for me. Do you like my look?
A few days ago, I saw this color combo online, and I was instantly inspired to create my version of it. I would probably have never thought of these 2 colors together, if I hadn’t seen how well they look together, but I loved how well olive green goes with pastel pink. I can’t wait for spring to officially come, so I can start wearing my pastels again and leave my coat at home. This sleeveless trench coat is going to accompany many of my spring looks, I’m sure. Wish I had a camel & a black version of it too. They are key-pieces that can totally make a look stand out. What do you think, loves?
Readers, I fell into the hat trap! I’m not normally a hat person, especially during winter, but seeing hats everywhere made me fell in love with them and I actually bought my first winter one, which I’m wearing here. I have already worn it many times, and I love it. You’re going to see a second outfit with it really soon. That’s how madly in love I am with it. In other news, I had some orders from online shops delivered to me just before Christmas and I couldn’t ask for a more perfect gift. This sleeveless trench coat was one of them, and I’ve surprised myself for not ordering it the first time I saw it months ago. It’s finally mine though. It’s not very thick and warm, but it’s perfect for layering, even during this season (the weather is still pretty warm in Greece!). You can wear it on top of mini sweater dresses, like I did here, to give the outfit a nice look with contrasting lengths and colors. It’s a piece I’ve been dreaming of for months, so I’m definitely going to wear it again and again in the future, especially when the weather is lighter. If you wanna see what else I’ve purchased lately, feel free to watch my new video below (it’s in Greek but you can still see all the items). Waiting for your comments! 🙂
