A trip down memory lane… | 10 years of blogging

A few days ago, I had a trip down memory lane…and that lane was blogging. I took a long look at my old outfit photos, and reminisced the good old days of blogging, when everything was more innocent and, let’s face it, way more fun. Back then, I was just a blogger, who loved playing with clothes & accessories and enjoyed creating new outfits, and photographing them for her little blog. Last year, has been tough; We’ve been staying at home, for almost a year now, and of course my little blog took a hit from that. I didn’t have more than 11 outfits to choose from to create a collage, compared to the previous years when I had so many favorite outfits to include, that it was hard to only choose 4 for each year for today’s post. Looking at some of my old photos, made me rethink all the good moments we had, and how much I actually loved blogging. I loved taking outfit photos, I absolutely loved it. And even though I’m not a fan of new year’s resolutions, if I have to have one (one that’s totally easy to follow), it would be to start doing that again. Till then though, I’ll leave you with some of my favorite looks, from the 10 years I’ve been blogging, separated by year. And hopefully, when the pandemic permits it, I’ll be back with a fresh look. Till then, you can follow me on Instagram, and if you speak Greek, I’d be happy if you follow me on Youtube as well, and subscribe to my channel. That would be awesome! Happy New Year! May 2021 bring you everything your heart desires. But most of all, health. ♥

A touch of androgynous | Outfits

A touch of androgynous 8- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comI bought this pair of pants some years ago, and I don’t even remember if I ever wore them outside the house. It was obvious from the moment I wore them that this style was definitely not me, as it was not flattering to my figure/body type, but I bought them anyway, because a) I loved this style and b) the sales woman was too pushy and persuasive. They stayed unworn for years, and they were on the “to sale” pile, until recently, when I thought I’d give them another chance by pairing them with feminine pieces and bringing them closer to my style. I didn’t dislike them as much as the last time, but I still think that the androgynous style is suitable for tall and thin figures, so, not for me. However, I’m going through an experimenting phase again, and I really wanted to try something different. I don’t think they’ll make an appearance on the blog again anytime soon, but they’ll probably stay in my closet for a little longer. What do you think?

Black Panther | Outfits

Black panther 3- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comLast week, I received a new pair of black skinny jeans via mail, and I couldn’t think of a better way to wear them for the first time, than in a total black outfit. I know, most people would have worn them with something more colorful, but if something gets on my mind, it’s really difficult to get it off it. So total black it is, for their first outing. You rarely get to see me in such dark monochromatic looks, but I figured, that my copper red hair is all the pop of color I need some days. Let’s ignore the fact that they’re in desperate need of some hair dye. In fact, that’s exactly what I’m doing, by covering my dark roots with my beanie. Thank God for them! They can easily save a bad hair day, or what needs to be covered in between hair salon visits. hehe So, meet the black panther in me, and get ready for a picture loaded post.

Skinny jeans & high heels | Outfits

Skinny jeans & high heels 2- Outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comThis is something really simple, that I wore yesterday afternoon to meet T. I wanted to wear my new skinny jeans, and these grey heels popped in my mind as I was trying to find possible combinations to wear it with. The sweatshirt was a last minute addition, but I really love how it looked. I couldn’t leave the house without my new Regalis Collection rings, which have quickly become favorites. Do you like this look? Have a great weekend sweeties, and see you again on Monday!

Cropped top & tartan pencil skirt | Outfits

This tartan pencil skirt is one of the few things that I bought this season, and even though it was love at first sight, I didn’t get the chance to wear it until now. My first thought, was to combine it with my navy blue cropped top and my two-tone toe-cap pumps in blue and black. At first I was hesitant about the cropped top, but decided to go for it, even though I’m quite pale, and definitely don’t have the body of a model. Fashion is for those who dare after all, and don’t care about what other people might say. Of course I also wore a blazer on top, which made the look classier and kept me warm. My long coat was the perfect finish to the look. You might recognize the skirt, and the whole styling of these photos from the post I made last week, when I showed you my face without the sunglasses for the first time since I started blogging. It was a really big moment for me, and I imagine that even bigger ones are coming… fingers crossed! Till then, have a fantastic weekend my dear readers. Mine is going to be rather busy. My blogger friends and I, have something really BIG planned for this Sunday. Stay tuned for more details next week, and follow me on social media to get the updates in real-time! Kisses to all!
