If you follow me on social media, you already know that I finally dyed my hair again, so these are kind of old photos. We took these at the end of last month, when autumn decided to kick winter’s a$s for a few days. And this is how I was able to wear a sleeveless shirt, and my sandals. I also brought a jacket with me but it was purely for “just in case” purposes, since the weather was more than fine that day. The only one to blame for the poor lighting of these photos is us, who can’t really get used to the whole “it’s getting dark so much sooner now and we need to take photos much earlier” phase. Yeah, it’s THAT time of the year… I hate it! No news there! So, what is your news?

My month in pics | September 2014
One day left for September to come to an end, and it feels like we skipped autumn and went straight to winter. Looking at the outfit photos of the month, I see some of the summer ones from my last vacation days, and some really warm ones already. The month had lots of casual ones, along with some dressier ones of course (it wouldn’t be me, if there weren’t) and my Instagram went from green smoothies to warm coffees, lots of foodporn and selfies. Sunset at the beach | Outfits
My thought that day, was to take some photos on the rocks in my maxi dress at the nearby beach, and then have an afternoon swim with my friends, but unfortunately we didn’t make it to the beach on time to have enough light for summer “outfit photos”, so we improvised. As the sunset behind me was too beautiful to ignore, we took some photos with it behind us, playing with the shadows and the remaining sunlight and after the sun was completely gone, we pushed my camera to its limits to get some decent shots before it was completely dark outside. This outfit is my suggestion for a nice night out at the closest beach bar (or not). Shoes are optional! 😉 In the end, we didn’t have the afternoon swim we wanted, but despite all the obstacles that day, we succeeded in taking photos at the beach, and it was all worth it!

Bad girl 55 | Outfits
This was one of those “spur-of-the-moment” outfits that I wore a couple of weeks ago to meet with the girls. I was originally going to wear my white high heeled pumps with this outfit, that were going to make this look far more “bad-ass” compared to how it looks now, but killer heels aren’t meant for lots of walking, and I wasn’t in the mood to walk on high heels that day. It doesn’t happen often, but I do prefer lower heels or plain flats from time to time, and even though the look would have been so much better with heels, I “sacrificed” it for the sake of comfort. I did however love this look, with or without heels, and it was nice to find this bad-girl tee from my teenage years, in my closet. It is a bit short, but it looks great with high waisted bottoms. What do you think about this look?

My kind of casual | Outfits
If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter you may have already seen a video Anatoli made, in which I’ve also participated, showing what I was wearing that day. If not, click here to see it now, and of course follow me on Facebook, to keep yourself updated. For those of you who haven’t seen it, or want to see the details more clearly, we took some outfit photos as well. For that day, I picked out a really casual outfit (because it was super-hot, yet super windy), but to make the outfit feel more like “me”, I chose to pair it with my Vivienne Westwood x Melissa Lady Dragon pumps. Super simple, but in summer, I kind of live in those boyfriend shorts. Do you like the look?
