Hello Kitten

25 April, 2012

As promised, this is the outfit I wore on Easter’s Eve, on Great/Holy Saturday night to go to church for the Resurrection of Jesus.  After the Resurrection we returned home to eat mageiritsa, Easter eggs, and tsoureki (Easter bread), bringing home with us the “Holy Light” (or Holy Fire). As you can see these photos weren’t taken at night, but in the evening so I could have daylight for my photos. I had just decided what to wear, and took the photos for you wearing the whole outfit. I decided to wear kitten heels this year, so it could be easier to walk, and stand outside of the church, while waiting for the Holy Light, and the Resurrection to “occur”. Hence the “Hello Kitten” title of this post! 🙂

Zara blouse (similar style here), skirt (similar style here and here), and heels (similar style here), Dolce & Gabbana clutch, H&M necklace, Donna Karan sunglasses, Accessorize headband, Esprit watch, and Dyrberg/Kern cuff bracelet (similar style here).

For the actual outfit, I ditched the headband, and did my hair and nails differently. You can’t see it in these photos, but I did a newspaper print manicure for the week before Easter, and then changed it for pastel colored nails from Saturday night on.

Hope you liked my outfit! I seriously love this skirt, and it was so inexpensive and beautiful, and couldn’t wait to pair it with another striped item from my closet. Also, forgot to tell you that it was the first time for this year, to go out bare-legged, and really enjoyed it! 🙂

Stay tuned for my Easter Sunday outfit, which is filled with pastel colors, and one of my new pairs of sandals! I’m sure you’re gonna love it, almost as much as I did!

If you really like my content feel free to follow my blog, I’d be more than happy. No offense, but I don’t do the “follow each other” or “follow me and I’ll follow you back”.
I believe in genuine relationships, and I only follow the blogs I really like and/or the bloggers who support me and my blog by being true readers, and not just “followers”.
I hope I don’t sound mean by saying this, but it’s what I believe!

Thank you sooo much…I’m not a huge fan of kitten heels, and these ones are really uncomfortable for my feet. But they were ok for a couple of hours!

  3. Wow your skirt is simple but the horizontal sweater makes it stand out. The blue top and blue shoes bring your attention back to the skirt.
