Do you speak neon?

4 July, 2012

When you can’t find a proper title for your post (always a difficult task for me), this is what happens…you resort to wordplay with your blog’s name. It was the first thing that popped into my head and I said, why not?

I’m probably already back from my trip by now, but I thought just in case we were somehow delayed, I should schedule another one. This is an outfit I wore just before my trip, to go to lunch with T. and goodbye him, just before he returned to the army again, after spending almost 9 days in our town. Thank God for the 2nd time elections of our country. These flats may not be the perfect match, but I didn’t want to wear heels for the day, and I was in a hurry. Hope you like it….

Printed dress bought from Chalkidiki’s local shop last year, Motel neon yellow bag (seen before in this post)(another fantastic neon bag), Olvia suede handmade sandals (similar style), Donna Karan sunglasses, H&M necklace (another lovely one), and vintage watch.

We didn’t manage to take many pics of my outfit, since my battery died, but I promise to come back with a more interesting variation of this outfit till the end of the season. Sorry for the quality, but I didn’t have my DSLR with me that day.

And since I don’t have many photos of me to show you, I thought, for a change, to show you what T. was wearing that day, cause I really liked it, and managed to take a pic, before the battery died.

Since I forgot to ask him what he was wearing, I’ll have to write whatever I remember.  Shirt: H&M (similar style here and here), shoes: British Knights (one of my gifts to him for his birthday last year – the pic is from then).

Have a great day, and see you very soon with another post! Hope you liked this one! Don’t forget to follow! 🙂

  2. Oh, I thought the combination was just perfect! I love the dress and the shoes, but you know that I am in love with that bag! And what about the necklace? Perfectly matched!
As for the pictures, I liked them very very much! I think the quality is good!
What about that stylish boyfriend? Great – matching the shirt with the sneakers – great present, you gave! Very god about the elections, so that you could spend more time together – and soon it’ll all be over with the army! Times flies!
For example, myself – 6 weeks are gone now, it’s good to be here seeing especially one of my brothers (the other is to busy) and being among my organized things – the way I like them. But looking forward to going back to the UK soon! It’s always like this – I miss my organized things when I’m there and miss it a lot when I’m here! I know you understand me!
I got the new passport yesterday! Quite glad with the picture’s result. Not as good as the previous one, but fine!
I’m really looking forward to the post with the wedding outfit!
    Filakia pollaaaaaa!

    • Totally forgot to reply to these comments! Thank you so much!
Yes, we took these photos during the golden hour. I liked the result, although we’re very amateur photographers. I never thought I could pull off a neon bag, but I really liked how it looked. Maybe you can do it too.
As for the bf, he picked the shirt himself. He’s really into plaid since last summer! So I bought him the shoes to match! hehe 🙂

    • Hey Cathy! Thank you very much!
I bought this bag from a local Thessaloniki (Greece) shop! As I say on the post, it’s by an Italian brand called Motel, but I’ve no idea where and if you can find it online.
