Parisian | Outfits

Parisian - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comLately I’ve been really trying to find different ways to style, basically the same pieces from my closet, and I end up relying on last minute’s inspiration (since I have decreased my purchases to 1-2 pieces per season). The results are either on the much casual side, like you’ve seen here and here, or on the dressy ladylike chic style I usually prefer, like on this post, and this one. Either way, I’ve liked the result, and I must say that I have even surprised myself, with creating outfits with the same old pieces. Being a personal style blogger, and showing 3 outfits per week, is not easy, if you don’t shop new pieces to refresh your wardrobe and style your clothes in different ways, in order for them not to look the same all the time. And I’m definitely proud of myself for not being a victim of consumerism, in the middle of the crisis, and for choosing to spend my money on more pressing and important things. So ladies, if you can’t buy new things, for any reason, don’t feel bad; just take a look at all your clothes really carefully, and find hidden treasures in the bottom of your closet, that you might have not worn in years, but can now refresh your style without breaking the bank. Like this shirt, that I’ve had since secondary school, and haven’t worn in years, and that beanie that once belonged to my brother. Brought together to give a fresh note to my old striped dress you’ve seen before, this time belted, and paired with over-the-knee socks giving a Parisian air to the look. I hope you enjoy it!

Red & blue with stripes on top | Outfits

Red & blue with stripes on top 4- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comWe’ve been having some fabulous days lately, sunny and warm enough; perfect for fall. One of these days I took the chance and went out with a short-sleeved blouse, and a pair of sandals. I still haven’t put my summer shoes in boxes, nor did I replace them with my winter ones on the shelves. And I hope that I won’t have to do it soon, even though we’re heading to November. I’m sure I’ll soon have to put my winter clothes into my closet, and hide my summer ones in the higher parts of my closet, where they’ll have to wait for spring to come back.  But for now, I’m enjoying the warm days for as long as they last.

Casual for a coffee date | Outfits

Casual for a coffee date 4- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comThese photos were taken on a rainy Sunday when I met for coffee with my sweet Kleoniki. We took these, kind of quickly since it was starting to rain, and I was feeling cold & uninspired that day, hence the weird looking layered casual outfit. I’m super casual lately, and as you can see, I already took out my winter booties. I couldn’t wait any longer since there wasn’t a comfortable shoe to bear the rain in my spring/summer collection of shoes. Luckily we’ve been having great weather lately, but I didn’t have the chance to photograph many outfits. But I’ll show you what I got, soon enough! 😉

Stripes & mint | Outfits

Stripes & mint 8- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comI had a different outfit post in mind for today, but I really wanted to show you this one. I wore this outfit last Saturday to do some light shopping for nail-“necessities” and then went for coffee with T. It was a really windy day, as you can probably tell by these photos, but it was still quite warm. Since then the weather has taken a bad turn, and now looks more like autumn than summer, so I really needed something like this outfit post, to boost my mood. The color combination of the top and the rest of this outfit was rather unusual for me but I really liked the result. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Casual chic in boyfriend jeans | Outfits

Casual chic in boyfriend jeans - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comLately, as you might have noticed, I’ve been wearing many casual chic outfits, because I find them easy-to-wear and comfortable. For this style, I usually go for casual clothes (loose top and jeans –either skinny or boyfriend style) paired with blazers and heels. This is how I chose to wear my new white pointy pumps for the first time, and I really loved it. Promise, you’ll see them many times in the near future. My look’s finishing touch was my vintage beaded bag (handmade by my mom – who was super happy and proud to see me wearing it). Do you like the look?
