This is the second part of my shoe collection. I’ve promised you that I’d be back with the spring/summer ones, and here I am. So grab a cup of coffee and enjoy.
Yes, I have a slight addiction to shoes; I am aware! These aren’t all new purchases, but they were bought throughout the last few years. Some of them were bought by me, some were gifts from friends, and a few, gifted by shops. However, whether old or new ones, I love them and wear them all!
It took me many hours to film and edit this video, so I really hope you enjoy it!
Don’t forget to give the video “thumbs up” if you like it, and subscribe to my channel to support me and my work.
This post is called sporty chic 2.0 because the 1st sporty chic version was this one. So, SO long ago… One of the first months I was a redhead. My hair was actually redder and less copper back then, but I’ve found my color after that time. Back to today though, or more accurately yesterday, when we took these photos; I originally wanted to pair this outfit with heels, but I’ve put my sneakers on to run to the car to take something, and I looked in the mirror and thought, “I like it”. And since I was going for breakfast and coffee after these photos, I thought it would be more appropriate to wear sneakers than heels, so I changed my mind. You’ve seen me hundreds of time wearing heels, but only a handful wearing sneakers, so I guess that’s a refreshing change from my usual routine. What do you think?
I’ve wanted a pair of white Converse all-star sneakers for over a year now, but I couldn’t find them in my size, and I kept postponing it. So when I bought the other 2 pairs of shoes back in February, I not only found these in my size, but also on sale. And of course I had to have them. I haven’t worn my old all-star pair a lot, because they’re high tops and they’re not so comfortable for me, plus they run kind of big. Well, these ones turned out to also run big (I should start ordering the 37 on these) but nothing an insole can’t fix. So I got these in white this time, because I think they’d be perfect for spring & summer. I haven’t worn them yet, but honestly I can’t wait. I know they’re not something you haven’t seen before, on the contrary, but all shoes deserve their share under the spotlight. Happy Monday!
Another casual look in such a short period of time… I am full of surprises, aren’t I? Don’t worry, it’s not going be a new habit of mine, I’ll still wear my usual outfits. I was away from my home for a few days, to spend some time with the boyfriend, and I packed very lightly. Since we’re in a transitional period and the days (and especially the nights) here in Northern Greece are chillier, I found myself reaching for some layers, and some socks, and ok yes, another pair of sneakers. We had to run some errands that day, and after spending half the day traveling, I really appreciated the casual attire. But we returned home dead tired and hungry, so please excuse the tired no-makeup face, and the low light in these photos since we took them really quickly after our return. Casual as it may be, I really enjoyed the change.
Who would believe me if I had told him, that I, the eternal “germ-phobic”, would have gladly sit in the middle of the road to get these pictures? I bet no one who knows me would! T. couldn’t believe it either, and he was the one behind the camera. Would you, dear readers believe it, after having seen me in this outfit? Of course I’d never sit in the middle of the road wearing that outfit. I know, you must think that I’m crazy, because I didn’t do anything groundbreaking, but believe me, Mr. Monk in me would probably scream seeing me doing it. But I was so happy that day that I actually enjoyed it. Oh well, I have my moments too I guess. In “other news”, I wore this outfit last week to go to Thessaloniki’s International Fair and attend Sakis Rouvas’ concert after that. So the casual attire was much needed. 2 surprises from me in one day…I know, amazing! haha
