Stripes and florals is an unusual combination, but that’s how imagined wearing my long stripey vest for the first time. This is the 5th and last item of my order of last month, and I have endless combinations in mind for this one. It can be worn all year long, and I’m sure I’ll have no problem styling it again and again. These shoes on the other hand, are one of the pairs I failed to wear sooner this summer, so I imagined wearing them with this shirt. I know you’ve seen it recently, but summer will soon be gone, so I take every chance I get to wear my summer items more times. High-waisted midi skirts are perfect combined with cropped tops, so don’t be afraid to wear them together even if you don’t have abs. The key is to leave just a tiny bit of skin exposed in between these items. And it’s actually a trend I love since it really flatters my slim waist (abs can wait! 😛 ). Do you like this look?

Formal dresses for every taste
Last week, I talked to you about a new e-shop I found for formal dresses, called Formal Dresses Australia. Judging from the views that the post had, I figured, you’d wanna see a few more from there. From time to time I get a lot of emails from women asking me what to wear to a formal occasion such as weddings and christenings, and I’m always happy to help with their search because as you know I’m “living” for such events. I was actually thinking of writing some posts to help you choose the best dresses for you, on my other site, Stylishly Beautiful. I have some ideas, but they will have to wait for now.

Platform shoes for fall via SammyDress
Platform shoes have been one of the biggest trends of last Spring/Summer season, and as it seems, the same trend is going to follow us to fall/winter too. People seem to be divided into 2 categories when it comes to platform shoes: either they love them, or they hate them! I used to hate them in the past, but I changed my mind when I bought my first pair of flatform sandals for summer. They can be super comfortable, in ways that normal flats will never be, and have a few added privileges. First of all, you gain a few points in height (which is always a plus for most women), while walking comfortably on your flat shoes, without feeling anything from the ground beneath you. Secondly they can be super stylish in their own ways.

Modern pin-up | Outfits
I’ve had this outfit in mind, since before I placed my order to get this beautiful cropped knotted shirt, and I couldn’t wait to wear it and share it with you before we officially enter fall. This is how I imagined wearing this beautiful shirt, when I was ordering it. Yes it’s one of the items of last month’s Spartoo order. Isn’t it pretty? I really wanted to try something different, so I paired it with a midi skirt, my all-star sneakers, my white backpack, and one of my mom’s scarves as a headpiece, to give a hint of color, and make the look more retro. I quite liked the result. It’s actually one of my favorite outfits I’ve worn lately. For the photos I wanted my background to make a contrast with the look, so I picked a place with lots of green but also lots of road signs to add even more color. Do you like my look? Let me know by leaving a comment, in the form below. I really love reading your comments! 🙂

Loosen up | Outfits
I’m sure you remember this dress from this post last month, when I wore it for the first time. Back then I wore it more casually, with a thin belt and a pair of sneakers. This time, I wanted to make it look more elegant, so I decided to leave the belt and wear it with a pair of heels and my matching bag, keeping the rest of the outfit minimal. I loved both ways, but I’d love to know which way was your favorite so far. It was a super-hot day and letting my hair down wasn’t a very wise decision but lately all I did was keeping them up, so I wanted a change from that. Rumour has it that the weather is going to get cooler soon. I still have lots of summer outfits in mind though, so let’s see. Leave a comment below to let me know what you think.
