First days of spring

24 March, 2012

Continuing with the outfit posts I have gathered during this month, I’m going to show you an outfit I wore at the beginning of March, which coincided with the first warm days of spring. It’s still pretty cold at nights, so you will see me wearing warmer clothes again on the next outfit posts, but let’s talk about this outfit for now.

Pepe Jeans coat, both tops: Bershka, handmade vest: vintage (similar style here), jeans: Killah, boots: Bershka, bag: Penny Black, sunglasses: Donna Karan, necklace: vintage, ring: vintage (similar styles: here and here).

On my nails: GT Cosmetics no. 346 by Tommy G.

A huge thank you to T. who took these pics for me! It’s always a nice change.

P.S. We did a few small changes in the layout of the blog, as you may have already noticed! I returned to my old content-sidebar layout, but kept it as big as the last one. I was never quite satisfied with the previous one. I think I like this change, although it will take some time to get used to it again, but I would love to hear your thoughts. And since we’re exchanging opinions, I know that’s it’s already there for 3 months, but how did you like the new header of my blog?

P.P.S. Don’t forget to change your clocks tonight! I love this time of the year! Woohooooooo!!!

Please follow my blog any way you like! 😉

  1. So glad the weather is getting warmer for you there, looks like a lovely day! And yes your nails always look perfect 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful Spring. Melbourne has the most Greeks outside of Greece so perhaps you’ll come visit one day, I’m sure you’ll feel right at home! x

    • Thank you Steph! I’m flattered cause I paint my nails by myself, I don’t go to a manicurist.
I didn’t know that about Melbourne! I’m sure that if they are so many I’ll definitely feel right at home. hahaha Maybe one day I will! Wish it wasn’t that far away! I’ve never traveled for so many hours, and I’m a bit scared of long flights.

  2. How come I didn’t see your post yesterday? Or on Saturday? Ggrrr at myself! I am sure I checked your blog out because of the day (you know I think of the 3 day-“rule”) and nothing came, just the previous post… strange…!
But anyway, I noticed the changes and I loved them! There is one picture at a shopping mall, I am sure, on the right side; it just looks as if you were caught by paparazzi on your way to catch a flight – looks like an airport! So fabulous!
I like your style, you know, and your outfit is great – again and again! This time I loved the vest, the necklace and the sunnies very very much, but the bag, jeans and coat are also great! Guess what, on Friday I went out (every 2 weeks I’m “pushing” it a bit, we deserve it!) for a few drinks with friends. They all stayed outside the pub, some to smoke and some to talk to the smokers, of course (I don’t smoke). It was warm during the day, but not at night. I was wearing a – I think – nice dress, but had to stay with my coat closed the whole time! So I totally understand when you mention “warm, but cold at night”!
These pictures are gorgeous! The location is lovely and you look amazing, always, but that one with the wind and your hair was caught… simply amaaaaaaaaaaazing! Greece’s Next Top Model!

    • Hey Denise! Thank you sooo much for your comment! I’m always waiting eagerly for your comments! 🙂 I don’t know why it wasn’t visible to you! It’s so strange cause I uploaded it on Saturday around 2-2.30 (Greece’s time). But it’s ok! The important thing is that you saw it, and that you liked it, and left me one of your sweet comments! We did the changes on Friday night, so I don’t think that caused a problem with my new post.
Ah you must be talking about the widget on the right side. I just saw it! It’s from a site called WhatIWear, where I post my looks, but this one is old, it’s the one called the cape, remember? It was a photo taken in the mall by T, as we were walking, and I told him the same thing when he took the pic. That it was like I had a paparazzi next to me, cause he took so many pics while we were walking. haha Although I didn’t like the widget cause it isn’t shown properly. It’s too big, so I’m gonna change it!
The vest was a piece made by my mom (I think), which she wore when she was young!
I’m happy you went for drinks with friends. Sometimes it can be annoying to stay outside just for the smokers, especially on cold temperatures. I’ve been there! And yes, these spring nights are still pretty cold. But the days are fabulous and sunny! I have to thank T again for all the pics including the one, that my hair was caught by the wind. hehe I liked it too!
And I just saw that you wrote 2 more posts. And I checked yesterday and didn’t see them. Maybe it was too early when I checked. Going to your blog now!
