I wore this outfit yesterday for a Christmas Day lunch at my brother’s in-laws. The weather was quite mild, and I was able to take these photos without freezing. Wish I could take better ones, but I was in a hurry to go there…I love Christmas, because we get to dress up and sit around a table full of delicacies with our loved ones. I hope you all had an amazing time with your families and loved ones. I also got to see our dog Mae, who’s been staying there for over a year…I hope to take her back here for a few months in the near future.

My pre-Christmas purchases | New in
I had so much fun taking the photos for this post, that I spent 2 hours “photoshooting” without noticing it. Oops! 🙂 I made a few pre-Christmas purchases the past couple of days, and I couldn’t wait to show them to you! So much, that I put every other post I had planned aside, to do this one. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

What to wear to Christmas parties
Christmas is just around the corner, and I’ve promised to make a post on what you can wear to Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties, as I did last year. The season calls for party dresses full of sequins and bling, but there are many more options for everyone’s taste. Today, I’ve prepared a guide for you, with styles you could choose from, for the parties you have to attend during the holidays. Take a look!

A wool dress to keep me warm | Outfit
I wore this outfit last week to meet T. for his birthday! I promised him, a walk to several electronic and toy stores (boys!) and after that we hit the super market, to buy some stuff I wanted for the recipes I was going to make. My gift to him was 2 main courses, and one dessert. Sometimes actual gifts are less important than spending a full day with your other half, cooking for him and watching movies together. We had an amazing day, the food was great, and we “collapsed” on the couches, after watching the movie, from eating too much food. hehe

Sweatshirts & burgundy | Outfit
I wore this outfit some weeks ago, to go shopping. It was right after my return from London, and I couldn’t wait to wear my only souvenir (apart from a Dorothy Perkins dress which I’m planning to wear over the holidays). I wanted this kind of a sweatshirt for a long time, and I really liked this one which will always remind me of my trip. Paired it here, with my latest love, my burgundy/oxblood pants, and my old grey boots…which are Shoe Save #37 according to the rules of Shoeper Shoe Challenge by Shoeperwoman.com.
