Little Black Dress & vintage tapestry clutch | Outfits

This D&G black dress is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe, because it’s so simple and classic that it can make you look elegant for any occasion in no time. I never thought I would wear tapestry print, but this D&G-inspired vintage clutch made me change my mind. It’s so small, that even I can pull it off without looking over the top. It’s actually my mom’s and she’s been using it as a make-up case for many years, but I had to steal it for the night, because I really think it completes my look. I also stole some other vintage cool stuff, like a coin wallet, a mirror/comb for the bag, and a cute little note pad/phone-pad.  Excuse the overload of photos in this post. I really loved this outfit, and wanted to show you every little detail.

Boot-licious

Weird title, I know! I always have trouble finding good titles for my posts and even more now, that my inspiration has left the building, since my blog is down as I’m writing these lines, and I’m much more caffeinated than I should be, to deal with it properly. Of course if you’re reading this, it means that the blog is already up (let’s hope that it didn’t take too long to happen), so let’s move on to my outfit post.

These pics were shot about a week ago, when T. was in town for a few days. So sorry for posting them late again, but as you know I always write my “month in pics” and “month’s wishlist” post at the end and the start of each month, so this takes all other posts back a few days. Anyway, the day was hot enough to allow me to wear a sleeveless black dress (that I didn’t have the chance to wear before, this year), and a pair of my not-so-wintery boots. You’ve seen them before in this post.

My Little Black Dress

A couple of weeks ago, it was my sister-in-law’s birthday, and we were invited to their house to celebrate. It was a really fun evening, and we ate a really delicious cake made by my sister-in-law who is a great cook as well. I was all day out of the house doing some shopping, catching up with my boyfriend, and trying to find the perfect gift for her, so I was too tired when I returned home. Not having thought what to wear, I went with my LBD, a wardrobe essential that every girl has these days, and saves her from every difficult situation when she doesn’t know what to wear. I paired mine with gold accessories.
