The scarf | Outfits

The scarf - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comI had a coffee date with Kleoniki of Notebook of Claire and Maria of Style Bows on Saturday, and as you can see the weather was back to chilly, after the few nice days we had. The weather forecast called for rain, wind, and snow in the following days. And this time it was quite accurate, because yesterday it snowed all day, and it was super cold (but more about this on my next outfit post, because yes folks, we went out for outfit photos that day! hehe). To protect myself from the cold, and the wind, I layered up and wore my chunky scarf, which I matched with my snakeskin pumps. Do you like the result?

Preppy in tartan | Outfits

Last week 2 of my friends paid me a little visit, to celebrate New Year together, with finger food and cocktails. Before that, we went for photos as usual. For that day, I chose something really casual in the tones of burgundy, because we were staying in and I wanted to be comfy and relaxed. Please excuse my lack of posing/awkwardness…I was in extreme muscle pain that day. I could barely move my head. 2014 definitely started impressively! 😛

Make a statement with plaid | Outfits

A few days ago, when the weather was really mild, I could easily go out without a coat on, so I decided it was the perfect chance to wear my new cozy plaid scarf for the first time, on top of a really light outfit (of course I had the coat waiting for me on the backseat of my car, if needed). This scarf is a statement piece by itself. No need for more accessories, or jewellery, or anything fancy. I wanted to wear it with a really simple outfit, so it can stand out as it deserves. All I can say is that I’m in love with it, and I’m so happy that I finally found it in stores.

Cropped top & tartan pencil skirt | Outfits

This tartan pencil skirt is one of the few things that I bought this season, and even though it was love at first sight, I didn’t get the chance to wear it until now. My first thought, was to combine it with my navy blue cropped top and my two-tone toe-cap pumps in blue and black. At first I was hesitant about the cropped top, but decided to go for it, even though I’m quite pale, and definitely don’t have the body of a model. Fashion is for those who dare after all, and don’t care about what other people might say. Of course I also wore a blazer on top, which made the look classier and kept me warm. My long coat was the perfect finish to the look. You might recognize the skirt, and the whole styling of these photos from the post I made last week, when I showed you my face without the sunglasses for the first time since I started blogging. It was a really big moment for me, and I imagine that even bigger ones are coming… fingers crossed! Till then, have a fantastic weekend my dear readers. Mine is going to be rather busy. My blogger friends and I, have something really BIG planned for this Sunday. Stay tuned for more details next week, and follow me on social media to get the updates in real-time! Kisses to all!

Fall transition | Outfits

Everybody is complaining about the weather lately, because they say we were supposed to have cold weather by now, but I couldn’t be happier about it. The days are still quite warm at 20+ degrees, and the nights are cooler, without having to wear wools and coats yet. And honestly people, this is how fall/autumn weather in Greece is supposed to be. A transitioning period between summer and winter! The sudden changes from hot to cold weather (like the one we’ve been having the previous years – except for the last one) isn’t normal. That’s why we have 4 seasons, and not 2. I’m taking advantage of this transitional period to still wear some of my summer clothes, mixed with some of my fall/winter ones. Like this dress which you’ve seen before in this post, which I mixed with my tartan shirt, and the comfiest shoes ever, my biker boots. A bit of girly, and a bit of grunge, and limited to none accessories; exactly how I like my casual outfits to be.
