My Little Black Dress

A couple of weeks ago, it was my sister-in-law’s birthday, and we were invited to their house to celebrate. It was a really fun evening, and we ate a really delicious cake made by my sister-in-law who is a great cook as well. I was all day out of the house doing some shopping, catching up with my boyfriend, and trying to find the perfect gift for her, so I was too tired when I returned home. Not having thought what to wear, I went with my LBD, a wardrobe essential that every girl has these days, and saves her from every difficult situation when she doesn’t know what to wear. I paired mine with gold accessories.

Lucky Stripe

Alternative title: Gone with the wind! Seriously, this was one of the most windy days, hence the crazy-all-over-my-face hair. I couldn’t keep them down for long. Apart from that it was a really sunny and beautiful day, if you were standing under the sun. Otherwise, in the shade, it was really cold. Luckily I was under the sun most of the time, so I didn’t get too cold.

Anyway, my bf finished his basic military training after a few weeks in the army, and they took their vows (I really don’t know what is called in English, so excuse me for that) and this is where I was, when I was wearing this outfit. I wore something really simple and casual, as I wanted to be comfortable, because I knew I was going to be out of the house the whole day.

Before the storm

These pics were taken about 2 weeks ago, on a really cold day just before the snowstorm hit the town. Even with so much layering I was quite cold, especially on my feet. Yes, I know, I thought the maxi skirt would (partly) protect me from the cold, and I wanted to be comfortable so I went out wearing it. The worst part was when I took my coat off for the pics and I was really exposed to the wind. Thankfully I didn’t catch a cold (I’m a tough one to break!), but there were some weird old men, looking at us from their car, probably wondering what we were doing, taking pictures in such freezing temperatures. Well, they got the Look back *insert angry-looking face here* and decided to leave us in peace.

I can be really scary when I want to, believe me. Both of us think so. hehe
