Red, white, blue | Outfits

Red, white, blue 8- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comFinishing with the looks we photographed at the end of last month, here’s one in one of my favorite color combos: Red, white and blue. Blue and white are a classic color palette for the Greek summer, while red adds the right pop of color to the mix. A very simple outfit combined with heels, for a quite windy day next to the sea. And what all windy days need is nice updos to keep our hair out of our face. Here, I’m trying the braided bun, which I quite liked. What do you think of this look?

May 1st | Outfits

tortoise mirror wayfarer sunglasses glassesshop.comThese photos couldn’t be any fresher. We took them on May 1st, as the title says, and I couldn’t wait to post them. Like last year, we were invited to Maria’s country house for barbecue with her and her friends. And of course we jumped at the chance to take some outfit photos at the swing again. It was a great day, and I was super happy to spend it with my boyfriend and friends. Plus I got to spend 3 days at my boyfriend’s place and take some days off work. And as soon as I returned home I started working again. Can you believe I missed my blogs so much? I can never leave them for long. I hope you enjoy these photos! How did you spend your weekend?

Overcast | outfit post

I wore this outfit on Sunday to go for lunch with family friends. I wasn’t sure about it at first but I have to say that I really loved how it looked. I asked my mom to take these photos for the blog on this really cloudy day. As soon as we finished the rain started pouring down. Wore my new Bourne Agatha wedge booties for the second time that day, and saved them according to the rules of Shoeper Shoe Challenge by Shoeperwoman.com. Do you like it?

Family gathering | outfit post

The day before my cousin’s wedding, and of course after all the travelling and touring the island (I described in my previous post) we gathered at my aunt’s house. We weren’t initially going to stay for dinner, but seeing all the family gathered there it was hard to leave. My aunt made a huge table and all the family (and some friends of the bride) sit around to enjoy the food she had prepared for us. It was so nice to see all of my father’s side of family in one table (his 2 sisters with their husbands, and almost all their families as well). It’s something that hasn’t happened for many years. Really wished my father was there to celebrate with us. It felt really weird being on “his” island without him. But let’s leave this sentimental stuff behind and continue to the outfit of that day!

The shirt dress

I’ve been wanting to buy a shirt dress since last year, when I saw some pictures of Vanessa Hudgens rocking one of those. A simple summer shirt dress to wear it with a belt and flat sandals. So, I was really happy when I found exactly what I was looking for during my trip to Vienna, at the local H&M. And it also happened to be sales period, so I bought it for only 7euros!!! Score!!!

However, I wasn’t able to wear it till now, cause summer in Greece is scorching hot, and the shirt has ¾ sleeves. So when we had a few cold and rainy days about a week ago, was the perfect chance for me to wear it.
