How to do outline nails | manicure tutorial

A few weeks ago, I did a similar manicure, and I was asked by many of you to do a tutorial. I know it would have been much easier for you to watch a video tutorial, but honestly, I don’t know how to do one, nor I have the time and energy to experiment with videos for the time being. I’m not saying that I never will, just not now. But it’s a really easy manicure to do, even for the less experienced (like me, who is a complete amateur who learned how to do everything by simply experimenting on my nails… I’m no way an expert), so I took many pictures, in hopes that they’ll be enough to show you how I did it, step by step. Since I didn’t want to use the same colors, I tried something I wanted for a while now, inspired by this pin on Pinterest, which takes border mani a step further by adding a mat finish. Totally loved the result! I want to thank T. for taking once again pictures for me. I’ll put a short label under each photo to guide you step by step on the process.

Walking my dog in style | Outfits

Those of you who follow me on social networks might have already seen that my dog, Mae came home again last Wednesday. She is our family dog, and she is with us since 2004 when we “adopted” her. She was living with us for many years, but my brother took her with him, when he moved out. For years she shared her time between our house, and my brother’s, but for the last couple of years she was living with my brother’s in-laws who also love her very much. Due to some events we weren’t able to have her here sooner, but I’m just happy to have her with me now…She’s almost 10 years old, so we can’t take her for long walks any more, but a small walk near our house was ok, so me and T. took the opportunity to walk her and take some outfit photos all at once. Two birds with one stone! Do you like us?

Home office redecoration | Home décor

Welcome to my room tour, well, actually my home office tour. This is a post I really wanted to make but kept postponing for far too long for various reasons. Today is finally the day. I wanna start by telling you to bear with me, because it’s going to be a huge post, with a lot of text and photos AND not to expect huge changes in the room decoration. I’ll explain the reasons…

Pastels, navy, and polka dots | Outfits

I wore this outfit a few days ago, but I must confess that it was a repeat. You see, I wore it again some time ago to go out with friends, but didn’t have the chance to photograph it. So this time, when I was searching for what to wear, I thought, why not? I loved wearing it, and I’d love to show it to you too! Played with 3 colors: Pink, navy blue, and red. What do you think?

Florals & neon | Outfits

Neutrals, neons, and florals for a really hot day downtown, which ended with – what else? – a thunderstorm. Seems like the whole month is going to be like this. I rarely wear florals, but I guess it’s nice in small doses, and only for my upper body. The same goes for neons. I love my neon yellow bag, but it gets too many stares when I take it out. Ah, who cares? I’m so tired of getting stares for being more dressed up than the 95% of my city’s residents. I’m not feeling like myself when I’m not in heels and there’s nothing wrong with wearing a bit of a color during warm months. Do you agree?
