Preveza vacation – Day 3 | Travel

Day 3 in Preveza was really full, so I have to warn you that this post is picture-loaded. But a picture is worth a thousand words, so I’m going to give you a small summary of the day, and then let you continue to the pics and captions to learn more. We decided to go to Acheron river on the 3rd day , and also visit the nearby Necromanteio (which was unfortunately closed). We skipped lunch to then go to Parga’s castle, and enjoy the view of Parga from there. Our day ended there, since we wanted to return to the hotel for dinner and stay in that night, which turned out to be a wise decision; at dinner time the skies opened and a storm hit the area. It was raining cats & dogs so we thanked our luck for deciding to stay in, and enjoyed a drink at our hotel. If you were following me on Instagram, you’ve surely seen some photos, but if you haven’t you can do it here.

Preveza vacation Day 2 | Travel

Day 2 of our vacation to Preveza was quite full, and filled with lots of back and forths between towns. We did many things that day and we also managed to be back at the hotel for every meal and relax by (and in) the pool. Started the day with a good breakfast (I missed those!), before visiting the famous city of Parga which seems to be very popular among tourists. We walked through the busy roads and alleys there, took lots of photos and headed to Lichnos beach which was very close to Parga (note that the fish there bite! And I’m being totally serious! They bit my leg and made it bleed. Ok it was tiny, but it hurt. Vicious fish! Never been bullied out of water by fish; that was a first!). So after we left that beach, we returned to our hotel for lunch, and then sat by the pool and relaxed under the sun while reading magazines. Of course at some point we swam too, and it was sooo good. The hotel pool was amazing. After dinner we headed to Parga again to see how it looks at night, since it was the only city we encountered that was still so lively, and full of tourists. Please read the labels under each photo and excuse me for putting so many photos in one post. It was impossible to choose among them, and since this is a diary post, I decided to put them anyway. Enjoy!

Casual chic | Outfits

One thing you may have guessed about me by now is that I don’t really enjoy wearing casual outfits. Ok, they’re comfortable, but most of the times, they’re boring. So when I go out and I want to be comfortable and I know I don’t have to do a lot of walking, I dress up the outfit through my accessories. This is what I did here, by wearing comfortable clothes, and choosing my favorite D&G clutch and sandals, that I was dying to wear all summer. Since I didn’t have a “photographer” for the day, I took these photos by myself, like old times. I hope you like result.

Blue & leopard | Outfits

I wore this outfit on Saturday to go out for dinner. Those of you, who follow me on Instagram and/or Facebook, might have already seen photos from that night. Since, however, it was too dark to take proper outfit photos that night, I asked my dear friend N. to take photos of my outfit the next day, so I can show it to you. I was thinking of completely different accessories, but when I saw this bag, the whole combination hit me, and I changed my mind. I want to thank my friend N. for taking the time to help me with these photos! 🙂 And by the way, this is a scheduled post, since I’m on my vacation since yesterday. Wish me a good time!

Nudes & pastels | Outfits

Every time, before I get dressed, I decide on my outfit… But even before that, I ask myself some questions and take many factors into consideration. Where am I going? Do I need to dress casual, or formal? Do I want to be absolutely comfortable today? Am I going to do a lot of walking? Do I need to carry a big bag with me to fit all my needed stuff for the day? Can I wear a dress? It may sound complicated but it’s not, because those questions get answered in a few seconds. So I ask myself these, and I go on, deciding my shoes and bag for that day, and I usually built the rest of the outfit around those. For the day we took these photos, I needed to be comfortable (so jeans and a loose top were the best option), I was going to walk a lot (therefore I needed flats), and I needed a bag to fit all my stuff plus my camera, that would match the rest of the outfit. And this is how even the simplest outfits get created in my mind. There are many variations to this process, but it usually goes like this. How do you get dressed in the morning? What’s your process?
