Summer Sunsets | Outfit post

A few days ago my friend S., who studies abroad, (do you remember telling you about her, last summer in Vienna?) and I, went for an afternoon coffee, on the spot I told you about on a previous post. She was in Greece for vacation, but spent most of her days on an island camping, but when she returned, she called me wanting to meet me. She’s one of my dearest friends. Despite studying abroad, and no matter how many miles separate us, we always talk and always meet when she’s in town. She feels like a sister to me.  And it’s one of the friendships I value the most! She only stayed in town for a day before she left for Germany again to study, but we managed to find some time for a coffee and some catching up! I always like to make time on my schedule (no matter how busy it can be at times), for my friends, especially good ones!

Before we reach our destination I asked her to take some pictures of me and my outfit for the blog. It’s always nice to have someone do it for you, instead of using a self-timer. The result left me speechless. She did such a great job with the photos…They were exactly as I wanted them to be, and even more! I hope you like them as much as I did.

Mom’s birthday party

Last week we celebrated my mom’s birthday, and I insisted on having a little gathering for her and her friends at our house. Of course I prepared many things for our friends to eat and drink. Today, I’m sharing them with you, together with the outfit I wore that night.

5 ways to wear a multi-colored printed dress

As I told you on my previous post, today (August 15th) is one of the biggest religion holidays in Greece (The Assumption of Mary). For this reason, I’m not going to do a regular post but a “new kind of post” instead.

Today, I’m going to show you 5 ways to wear a multi-colored printed dress. When you have an item with so many colors on it, it’s a bit difficult to find a good match for the shoes and the other accessories, because you don’t want to overdo it with the colors. The most important advice I have to give you is to stick to one or some of the colors that your item, in this case dress, already has on it. My rule is never more than 3 colors – a rule my mom passed on me – because you don’t want to look like a clown.

You may pair it with flats or heels, that’s absolutely your choice, but if your dress has as many colors as mine on it, be careful with your selection of accessories. Let’s see how I wore mine.

1.      With a pair of blue slingbacks and a bag of the same color.

Miss Robin Hood | Outfit post

This is the post I was originally going to publish last Friday, but decided to postpone, since almost nobody would be there to read it. I know August is the month in which most of you go on holidays, especially Greeks, because in August the 15th we celebrate the Assumption of Mary (as I told you last year too), one of the most important religious holidays in Greece (after Christmas and Easter). And because I really liked this outfit, I didn’t want to “waste a good outfit” and not give it the attention it “deserves”, so I decided to postpone it.  hehe

Colorblock this!

I wore this outfit for a night out with friends, in an attempt to finally wear my Tsakiris Mallas shoes I bought back then, and “save” them according to the rules of the Shoeper Shoe Challenge by Shoeperwoman.com.
