Outfit | Walking in Notting Hill

As promised, here’s the outfit I was wearing on our second day in London. The photos are taken on the roads of Notting Hill, one of my favorite places in London. You can see the cute colorful houses on the background. Unfortunately, these are the only outfit photos I took during our trip. I didn’t have the chance to take other ones, with all the running from one place to another. So, I hope you like them. You know how obsessed I am with oxblood lately, so you can understand why I chose this almost monochromatic outfit (with a few gold and black touches). My puffy white coat was necessary for the cold of London (even though I would have loved to take my Pepe Jeans coat with me instead). In case you haven’t read my other London posts yet, here’s the one from Day 1 and from Day 2. Enjoy!

Trend: Oxblood

Hello dear readers! For today’s post I thought I’d share with you one of the fall trends that I really like: Oxblood. Last year it was burgundy, this year it’s oxblood. The colors are really similar if not the same. In my country we call it bordeaux.

Having lent my DSLR to my brother for some days, and not having anything else to post about, I thought it was time to share with you my latest color addiction by doing a collage with some items I liked in this beautiful fall color.

New in: Zara goodies for autumn

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was quite nice too. Remember when on my latest “month in pics” post, I told you I didn’t shop anything during October? I was in some kind of a shopping diet. Well, yes I relapsed! Oops! I have to blame my cousin for this, who took me with him to shop some jeans and tees, and as we were at Zara, I took a look at the women section, and that was it! I found everything that I had on my mind, and much more that I would rather not think about, because I’ll want to go back and get them too. I had some things on my fall shopping list, except for the ones I showed you here (hehe), and I went straight to the colors I needed for my closet. Plus, a dress I saw in the display window and fell in love with it. Totally my style! So without further ado, I’ll show you what I got! This time I created a collage and did not take pictures, as all could be found online.

New in: Céline luggage tote look-alike & Zara peplum top

Last week, when I was in the city center for a doctor’s appointment, I decided to take a look at a few bag-stores I had visited, when trying to find the perfect clutch for my cousin’s wedding last June. I had “discovered” some interesting models, and wanted to see if there was anything good left on sale. And I was in luck because there were only a few colors left for the model I wanted. I quickly picked the dark red/burgundy one among them, and purchased it happily for a fraction of its original price. Genuine leather, made in Italy, by the company Il Giglio, the perfect look-alike to my latest obsession: the Céline luggage tote. Couldn’t be happier to bring it home with me!

Never too late for a bit of burgundy

I just realized that I’m way too late on my posting about my outfits, because I already have 3-4 more in the waiting, and this one was shot almost one month ago. :/  That’s not good. I actually managed to take quite a few outfit photos this past month, and I didn’t have the time to edit them, or write about them, so now I’ll have to show you some “outdated” ones on my next posts. You’ll understand when you see them!

Anyway, I chose this outfit for a night out at the movies, when I watched “Sherlock Holmes 2: A game of shadows”.
