Day 5 in Chios – The outfit

The day after the wedding, my mom promised to take me to the place I spotted at Day 1, to take my outfit photos, just before we started our next trip to the nearby villages.  It was a very cute and picturesque marina very close to our hotel. I really liked this place, and I wanted it to be one of the locations I used for my outfit photos. The wind was blowing like crazy, but that didn’t stop me from wearing my strapless dress, and pose for photos.

My shoe collection

Last month, I joined the Shoeper Shoe Challenge by Shoeperwoman.com, where I have to “save” all my shoes by wearing each pair at least once in duration of a year. If you’re wondering why, or if you simply want to read the rules in case you want to join as well (yes you can join whenever you like), you can click here. In order to join the challenge, I had to count my shoes, to find the total number…Also as an extra (optional) step, all who join are asked to take photographs of their shoe collection/shoe closet, simply for the joy of eye candy.

I counted 56 pairs then, (I have a few more, but I didn’t want them to be part of this challenge for personal reasons), but as you know my collection grew to 59 pairs last month. But let’s take it from the beginning…

This is my shoe collection of 56 pairs…

My month in pics – June 2012

Can’t believe June has already come to an end…One more day left for July to arrive. We are in the heart of summer! As you already know, because I said it far too many times, I’m in Chios island right now, firstly to attend my cousin’s wedding, and secondly to tour the island, and enjoy some days of vacation. So this is obviously a scheduled post. Let’s see what happened in my life and my blog this month…

Starting from the outfits I wore and photographed…

New in: Buffalo Dasia sandals via spartoo.gr

In my previous posts I told you that I had ordered 2 more pairs of shoes, and as I wrote on my Facebook page, they were delivered to me last week and I couldn’t be happier with my order. I wasn’t going to order 2 pairs, but it’s a long story!

I’ll try to make it shorter, by telling you that I was originally going to buy only the 2nd pair, but I already had a few green pairs, so my mom advised me to buy another one,  and that’s when I bought the Buffalo Addison ones. But I couldn’t get them out of my mind, so I wanted to buy them too. But from the moment I put my order for the Addisons, the green Dasia ones sold out in my size. I kept visiting the site every day in case my size was back, but nothing. After 3 weeks I gave up, and decided to buy the black pair instead…I didn’t have a black pair of heeled sandals for the summer, so I thought why not.

New in: Zara basic color-blocking sandals

I’m not gonna lie to you! I wasn’t initially going to buy these shoes, even though I really liked them. But seeing them everywhere in the blogosphere made it so difficult for me to resist! After contemplating on whether or not to buy them, I managed to find a way to justify their purchase, by thinking that they would look perfect with the dress I bought for my cousin’s wedding. Of course I had already chosen my favorite one among the variation of color combinations available. And finally decided to make the purchase! They weren’t available at my local Zara, but they were at the central store. A quick visit at the store, before my road trip to Kavala last Friday morning put them in my possession. Enjoy the photos I took for you (even though you may have already seen the shoes everywhere!).

Can I offer you anything?
